Playback Device Media Item Replacement
Embodiments are provided for replacing media items in a queue of a playback device. An example implementation involves receiving, at the playback device, first data indicating an addition of a first media item to a queue. The playback device determines that the first media item is no longer accessible to the playback device at a later second time. The playback device initiates a query for a media item similar to the first media item and receives second data indicating that a second media item has replaced the first media item in the queue, the second media item being similar to the first media item. In response, the playback device initiates playback of the second media item on the playback device.

Embodiments are provided for replacing media items in a queue of a playback device. The playback device initiates a query for a media item similar to the first media item and receives second data indicating that a second media item has replaced the first media item in the queue, the second media item being similar to the first media item. In response, the playback device initiates playback of the second media item on the playback device.
Multicast aided cooperative beamforming wireless system
A cooperative wireless system using a multicast protocol to facilitate coordinating coherent addition and subtraction of wireless signaling or other beams originating from a plurality of antenna units at a target location is contemplated. The system may utilize multicast-based regulation and distribution of transmission control parameters necessary for the antenna units to synchronize the wireless signaling in a manner sufficient to enable the coherent addition and subtraction thereof at the target location.

An example system includes a server communicatively connected to a cellular base transceiver station having an RF coverage area and configured for RF communication with a first entity that is a transceiver device in the RF coverage area, wherein the server comprises a first publish-subscribe broker that is part of a publish-subscribe broker network that comprises one or more publish-subscribe brokers, wherein a second entity connected to any of the one or more publish-subscribe brokers in the publish-subscribe broker network accepts communications from the transceiver device if the second entity subscribes to data packets published by the transceiver device, and wherein the data packets published by the transceiver device are routed through the publish-subscribe broker to which the second entity is connected.

Method and apparatus for avoiding interference
A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform, for example, a method that determines at least one threshold for detecting signal interference in a first plurality of segments occurring in a first radio frequency spectrum of a first wireless communication system, detecting a pattern of recurrence over time of signal interference in a segment of the first plurality of resource blocks according to the at least one threshold, and performing one or more mitigation steps to mitigate the signal interference without filtering the signal interference where the one or more mitigation steps include at least one of transmitting signals out of phase from the signal interference, adjusting transmit power, increasing power in a resource block of a long term evolution communication session, performing beam steering, or changing time parameters for the resource block without changing to a new resource block. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Method and apparatus for avoiding interference

Fast rerouting using egress-port loopback
A network device includes processing circuitry and multiple ports. The multiple ports are configured to connect to a communication network. The processing circuitry is configured to select a first port among the multiple ports to serve as an egress port for a packet, and to forward the packet to the first port, irrespective of whether or not the first port is usable as the egress port. The processing circuitry is further configured to, when the first port is usable as the egress port, transmit the packet to the communication network via the first port, and when the first port is unusable as the egress port, forward the packet from the first port to a second port among the multiple ports and transmit the packet to the communication network via the second port.
MULTIPLE-INPUT MULTIPLE-OUTPUT OVER THE AIR PERFORMANCE TESTING
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a testing equipment may transmit a set of test signals to a device under test (DUT) from a plurality of directions relative to the DUT; obtain, from the DUT, a set of measured multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) sensitivity results based at least in part on the set of test signals; and determine a MIMO over the air (OTA) performance of the DUT based at least in part on a single measured MIMO sensitivity result of the set of measured MIMO sensitivity results or an average of MIMO sensitivity results, in a subset of the set of measured MIMO sensitivity results, that satisfy a threshold percentile.
