The waste collection receptacle is characterized by an external contour configured to selectively fit into the cushion niche and facilitate removal of the receptacle from the cushion niche when the cushion is positioned under the backside of the individual. The toilet assembly additionally includes a receptacle lid configured to be selectively opened to expose the sump and closed to hermetically seal the sump when the receptacle is positioned inside the cushion niche. A method of managing toiletry needs of an individual using the toilet assembly is also disclosed.

An intelligent hospital bed may comprise a hospital bed, a first measuring unit, at least a second measuring unit, a third measuring unit, a central processor and a remote transmission device. The central processor is configured to receive signals from the measuring units and interpret the signals through comparison of data in a database of the central processor or a server. After interpreting, the central processor is configured to connect to the remote transmission device and send the interpreted information to a human-computer interaction through the remote transmission device such that the caregiver is able to master real-time conditions of patients respectively in the hospital beds including injection and urination status at the same time, thereby achieving the most effective allocation and utilization of care resource.

A motor supplies rotational force to one of the rollers and one of the rollers also provides for bending the flexible mattress to enter the chute, so that the end of the flexible mattress is guided underneath the pallet. A system includes the hospital bed with a detachable sanitary station. The sanitary station includes a toilet top and unites with the bed to deliver the patient to a position atop the toilet.
