PROTECTION DEVICE FOR PROTECTING AGAINST PATHOGENS, AND METHOD
A protective device to protect against pathogens comprises a protective housing that defines an interior space defined, a closable access opening to enter the interior space, a seating element that allows a passenger to sit in the interior space, and a chassis to move the protective device, wherein the protective device, in a closed state, seals the interior space in an airtight manner against an environment. A method to protect against pathogens comprises providing a protective device to a passenger, closing the protective device in an airtight manner, and moving the protective device. The protective device and/or the method may be used to protect a patient.
TESTING BOOTH FOR VIRUS SAMPLE COLLECTION HAVING EXAMINATION WINDOW ALLOWING CLOSE-CONTACT INSERTION OF SAMPLE COLLECTION TOOL
The present invention relates to a testing booth for virus sample collection having an examination window allowing close-contact insertion of a sample collection tool, and more specifically relates to a testing booth for virus sample collection having an examination window, wherein a tester can collect, from inside the booth, a sample from a test subject who is outside of the booth, the tester can collect the sample from the test subject while manipulating a sample-collecting swab tool from inside the booth, the efficiency of the task of sample collection can be increased due to the sample collection task being carried out by the tester without wearing thick and heavy rubber gloves, and it is possible to prevent contamination and cross infection during the sample collection process. To this end, provided is a testing booth for virus sample collection having an examination window, comprising: a space part which provides a space in which the tester is located, is sealed from the outside, and has a window wall facing the test subject; and an examination window which is provided in the window wall of the space part and corresponds to the face of the test subject, wherein the examination window comprises: a swab inlet/outlet part which is formed so as to pass through opposite sides of the examination window, and has a passageway having a diameter through which a sample-collecting swab tool can go in/come out; and a detachable cap which can be detachably attached to the swab inlet/outlet part at the space part side and has formed therein an opening means for guiding the sample-collecting swab tool from the space part to the passageway of the swab inlet/outlet part, wherein the examination window is characterized by the opening means opening only in one direction going from the space part toward the passageway of the swab inlet/outlet part, or, the examination window is characterized in that if the opening means is not required, a fitting portion, into which the swab can be fitted from the outside of the booth, passes through the examination window, and there is a handle portion which is connected to the swab and which protrudes to the inside of the booth.
CONTAINMENT DEVICE
A containment device includes a substantially transparent structure having a top, an open bottom with bottom edges aligned in a plane to form a planar base, and a plurality of sidewalls extending from the bottom to the top that define an interior for a patient’s head. A first sidewall has a pair of access openings for an operator’s hands, and an open end opposite the first sidewall is sized to accommodate at least a portion of the patient’s upper body when in use. The top includes a fist transparent panel extending from the first sidewall towards the open end at an upward incline relative to the plane (AA) of the base, the first transparent panel providing the operator with an undistorted and unobstructed view of the patient’s head.
PROTECTIVE NASAL MASK DEVICE
The present invention relates to a protective nasal mask device which hermetically seals the nasal region of a user during an ENT procedure. The device facilitates access to the user's nose and throat using a plurality of surgical tools. The primary advantage of the present invention is to provide a nasal mask device which protects medical professionals from disease transmission during an ENT procedure. Additional advantages include a nasal mask device which enables usage of a plurality of surgical tools during an ENT procedure, a device which at the same time, prevents exposure of biohazardous waste to medical professionals. The device hermetically seals the nasal region of a patient during an ENT procedure.
Tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic
The present disclosure relates to a tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic, and more particularly, to a mobile infectious disease clinic, which is a tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic that makes it possible to promptly install a large number of mobile infectious disease clinics due to having mobility and being easy to install and remove, that allows a test subject to be tested by a healthcare provider using an infectious disease test kit while the test subject is isolated in the tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic, the healthcare provider is outside the tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic, and exposure of the body parts is minimized, that performs sterilization of an infectious disease using an ultraviolet C (UV-C) lamp to reduce the time taken for disinfecting the clinic, and that allows the light radiation intensity of the UV-C lamp to be adaptively adjusted according to the body temperature of the test subject.
Portable and inflatable patient isolation chamber/stretcher system
A portable and inflatable patient isolation chamber and stretcher system having an exoskeletal frame, which when inflated, forms a substantially tent contour enclosure when coupled to an inflatable flexible base. The exoskeletal frame has an apex section formed by a flexible apex conduit which is coupled to and in fluid communication with first and second flexible end conduits. The inflatable flexible base is connected to the exoskeletal frame and is in fluid communication with the exoskeletal frame for providing a flexible platform for the patient. A transparent envelope is secured to the exoskeletal frame and inflatable flexible base for forming a patient isolation chamber. When deflated, the flexible base can serve as a stretcher for transport of the patient.
