Methods and Apparatuses for Resource Management in a Multi-Carrier Telecommunications System
The embodiments of the present invention relate to apparatuses and methods for resource management in a multi-carrier system wherein a plurality of component carriers (CCs) is defined per cell. According to a method in an apparatus corresponding to a radio base station, a message is assembled comprising information on the structure of the cell served by the radio base station; the information including one or more CCs used in the cell that is/are available for a user equipment for performing initial access in the cell. The method also comprises, transmitting the assembled message to the user equipment and indicating to the user equipment to what resources to use for random access in the cell. The exemplary embodiments of the present invention also relates to a method in the user equipment, to a radio base station and to a user equipment.
CQI Measurement Reporting Method, Apparatus, Network Side Device and Terminal
The embodiments of the present application provide a CQI measurement reporting method, an apparatus, a network side device, and a terminal. The CQI measurement reporting method comprises: a network side device determining, for multiple coordinated transmission TRPs or antenna panels, a CSI measurement resource used for CQI measurement; generating network side configuration information, the network side configuration information being used for indicating the network side device to configure a terminal to perform, according to the CSI measurement resource, CQI measurement corresponding to a TDM transmission mode, obtain a corresponding CQI measurement result, and then report the CQI measurement result to the network side device; and sending the CSI measurement resource and the network side configuration information to the terminal. Therefore, in the embodiments of the present application, CQI measurement reporting based on multiple TRPs or antenna panels is realized, and scheduling decision based on related coordination between the multiple TRPs or antenna panels is further realized, facilitating optimization of system resources and improvement of demodulation performance of terminals.
DOWNLINK CONTROL INFORMATION (DCI)-BASED TRIGGERED POSITIONING REFERENCE SIGNALS (PRS)
Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a serving transmission-reception point (TRP), downlink control information (DCI) triggering the UE to measure positioning reference signals (PRS), wherein a code point in the DCI is associated with one or more PRS resources, one or more PRS resource sets, one or more positioning frequency layers, or one or more TRPs, and measures PRS transmitted on the one or more PRS resources, the one or more PRS resource sets, the one or more positioning frequency layers, or the one or more TRPs.
METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SYNCHRONIZATION/PHYSICAL BROADCAST CHANNEL BLOCK AND APPARATUS
This application provides a method for transmitting an SS/PBCH block and an apparatus. The method includes: A terminal device receives one SS/PBCH block in an SS/PBCH block burst set, and then obtains indication information based on the one SS/PBCH block. The indication information may be used to indicate candidate indexes of at least one SS/PBCH block in the SS/PBCH block burst set, and a quantity of the candidate indexes is greater than 64. For example, the quantity of candidate indexes may be 128, 160, 180, 196, 240, or the like. A network device may not be limited to 64 candidate indexes. In other words, a quantity of candidate positions used to send the SS/PBCH block is not limited to 64. Therefore, the network device may send a larger quantity of SS/PBCH blocks to the terminal device.

A terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a receiving section that receives a medium access control-control element (MAC CE) to update a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state, and a control section that, when a configuration related to at least one of a spatial relation and a pathloss reference signal for a specific uplink signal satisfies an application condition, uses the TCI state for the pathloss reference signal from timing after transmission of a positive acknowledgment (ACK) to the MAC CE. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, it is possible to appropriately transmit a UL signal.
Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Feedback with Control Channel Repetition
A wireless device may receive an indication that repetition of downlink control information (DCI) is scheduled via a first monitoring occasion and a second monitoring occasion. The wireless device may transmit one or more feedback information bits via an uplink resource. The one or more feedback information bits may be based on a downlink assignment index (DAI) corresponding to the earlier of the first monitoring occasion and the second monitoring occasion.

A terminal includes a receiving unit configured to receive, from a base station, a message for requesting a report of a terminal capability, a control unit configured to include, into a message for reporting the terminal capability, a terminal capability related to measurement using a reference signal for obtaining information about a channel state, for each band or for each band combination, based on the message for requesting the report of the terminal capability, and a transmitting unit configured to transmit the message for reporting the terminal capability to the base station, wherein a range of a target time domain is specified in the terminal capability related to the measurement.

CSI-RS TO ENHANCE PDCCH TRANSMISSION OR RECEPTION
Aspects are provided which enhance receiver performance of PDCCH by allowing a base station to associate a configured PDSCH CSI-RS with a PDCCH for channel estimation and reception by a UE. A UE receives a reference signal associated with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) from a base station, and uses the reference signal to receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and/or measure the PDCCH and feedback a corresponding channel measurement for the PDCCH. A base station configures a reference signal associated with a PDSCH for transmission of a PDCCH and/or reception of a corresponding channel measurement for the PDCCH as feedback from the UE, and transmits the reference signal to the UE.
