Collaborative email with hierarchical signature authority
09886428 · 2018-02-06 · ·

Writing a collaborative email document with hierarchical authorities including establishing a collaborative email document on an administrator's computer, identifying one or more signatories for the document, identifying one or more collaborators who are authorized to view and edit the document, providing to the collaborators copies of the document for viewing and editing, where the collaborators' copies reside on collaborators' computers, updating the copies of the document on collaborators' computers with revisions from the collaborators, and sending the collaborative email document from the administrator's computer to addressees when the document bears valid digital signatures from all signatories. Typical embodiments also include providing at least one user authority to delegate signature authority, establishing a hierarchy of delegation authority for signatures, establishing at least one authority delegation policy including at least one rule for automated delegation of signature authority among signatories and delegating signature authority from at least one signatory to another.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURE USE OF MESSAGING SYSTEMS
20180032756 · 2018-02-01 · ·

A system and method for secure use of messaging systems. A mediator may receive an original message, process the original message to produce a processed message, and may forward the processed message to a server or a messaging system. A mediator may receive a processed message from a server or a messaging system, process the received processed message to produce an unprocessed message that may be substantially identical to the original message and may forward the unprocessed message to a destination.

Email user interface

Exemplary methods, apparatuses, and systems receive a reply or forward command for a selected email message in an email user interface, determine that the email user interface is in full screen mode and that the selected email message is at least partially outside of a visible area of the email user interface, and display a composition window in response to the command, wherein the displaying includes a sequence of images to create the illusion of the composition window sliding up from the bottom of the screen. In an example, a user interface includes a collapsible panel of mailboxes and folders, and a separate and independent favorites bar including a plurality of the mailboxes and folders. One of the mailboxes and folders in the favorites bar may be a hierarchical folder that includes a subfolder that is accessible via a drop down menu from the hierarchical folder in the favorites bar.

IN-ORDER MESSAGE DELIVERY IN A DISTRIBUTED STORE-AND-FORWARD SYSTEM

Techniques described herein enable store-and-forward systems to hold data at source node (e.g., service platform) until they can be provided to the destination node e.g., user device). In other words, data can be buffered at the source node until the destination node is online, and the establishment of a connection between the destination node and the intermediate node can trigger the retrieval of this data from the source node by the intermediate node. Additional techniques may be implemented to ensure the data connection between the intermediate node in the destination node does not expire while data is being communicated from the source node to the intermediate node.

Increased communication security

A method of increasing communication security may include determining, responsive to receiving a first message from a first computer system, whether said first computer system is authorized to communicate with a second computer system, wherein said determining is performed at a third computer system. The method may also include generating a first data portion associated with a security token, wherein said generating said first data portion includes accessing data, wherein said data includes a first instance of a session key, and wherein said generating said first data portion further includes encrypting, using a key associated with said second computer system, said data to generate said first data portion. The method may further include communicating, if said first computer system is authorized to communicate with said second computer system, a second message from said third computer system for delivery to said first computer system.

Method of Two-Way Information Exchange for Intelligent Communication Devices and System using the Method
20180020079 · 2018-01-18 ·

A method of two-way information exchange for intelligent communication devices is provided on a system for creating an information exchange channel between at least one requesting client and at least one target client. The method comprises: (a) the requesting client logs on a server of the system through an intelligent communication device; (b) the server receiving exchange conditions provided by the requesting client; (c) the server searching a data storage device of the system for a primary target client and a plurality of false target clients; (d) the requesting client communicating with the primary target client through the intelligent communication device; (e) the server granting the requesting client a delete privilege when the requesting client communicating with the primary target client reaches a threshold of time; (f) the server deleting at least one of the false target clients when receiving a delete request from the requesting client.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A COGNITIVE SYSTEM PLUG-IN ANSWERING SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT QUESTIONS

Embodiments provide a system and method for integrating a cognitive system into a call center. The system and method include ingesting, through an instant messaging application, one or more original questions from one or more call center agents; ingesting, through the instant messaging application, one or more answers associated with the one or more original questions; receiving, through the instant messaging system, one or more additional questions; determining one or more proposed answers to each additional question based on analysis of the one or more original questions and answers; determining a confidence score for each of the one or more proposed answers; if the confidence score of the proposed answer exceeds a confidence threshold, providing the proposed answer to the call center agent; receiving, through a feedback module, feedback on the proposed answer from one or more subject matter experts or call center managers; and incorporating the feedback on the proposed answer into the analysis of the one or more original questions.

Individual XML message processing platform
09870553 · 2018-01-16 · ·

A communications platform having an XML based message-processing platform that enables users to receive electronic messages. The processing platform may include at least one server that receives an electronic message addressed to the platform, wherein the electronic message includes a routing indicator including at least one user identity and one or more message attributes. The one or more message attributes may include folios which include information folios that at least one of intelligently store, display and synthesize incoming electronic messages. The platform further includes at least one database that stores a user-defined endpoint table, the endpoint table correlating endpoints with sender defined message attributes. In this embodiment, the platform may include a sender stylesheet and an electronic message stylesheet that describes an activity and an event.

Methods for displaying notifications
09871756 · 2018-01-16 · ·

Delivering notifications to a user can include obtaining, by one or more server computers, notification information indicating that a notification is to be delivered to a device associated with the user at a future time that is subsequent to a current time and behavior information associated with the user; ranking, by the one or more server computers, a plurality of notification delivery strategies that the user will be available to receive the notification from the device associated with the user at the future time based in part on behavior information associated with the user; and sending the notification for display to the device associated with the user based on a highest ranked delivery strategy from the plurality of delivery strategies.

Secure electronic mail system

An e-mail system is disclosed that overcomes many deficiencies of, but is backward compatible with, existing e-mail systems. Embodiments of the system may include various features, including but not limited to: (1) secure transfer of e-mail messages, without the need for users to replace existing e-mail clients or to change e-mail addresses; (2) tracking of all actions performed in connection with an e-mail transmission; (3) the ability for a recipient to view information about an e-mail message, optionally including information about how other addressees have responded to it, before deciding whether to retrieve the e-mail message; (4) the aggregation of entire e-mail conversations into a single threaded view; (5) the ability to include both private and public messages in a single e-mail communication; (6) sender control over downstream actions performed in connection with an e-mail message; (7) flexible control over cryptographic methods used to encrypt emails messages for storage.
