Techniques for message deduplication
Techniques for message deduplication are described. In one embodiment, an apparatus may comprise a client front-end component operative to receive an incoming message at a messaging system from a messaging client on a client device; extract a deduplication token from the incoming message; store the incoming message in a message queue where examining the deduplication token determines that the incoming message does not duplicate any existing message of the messaging system; and discard the incoming message where examining the deduplication token determines that the incoming message does duplicate an existing message; and a message deduplication component operative to examine the deduplication token to determine whether the incoming message duplicates any existing message of the messaging system. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Assisting users with efficient information sharing among social connections
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a sharing request to share content generated during a current dialog session from a client system associated with a first user, identifying one or more content objects associated with the sharing request based on a natural-language understanding module, wherein the one or more content objects were previously generated during the current dialog session, determining one or more second users the sharing request is directed to based on a user profile associated with first user, and sending instructions for accessing one or more of the identified content objects to one or more client systems associated with the one or more second users.
Dynamic bridge for object transfer
A request for a first dynamic bridge end is received at a first device. A capability for a second dynamic bridge end is transmitted to a second device. At least one of the first dynamic bridge end and the second dynamic bridge end have a movable end point location. The first dynamic bridge end and the second dynamic bridge end create a path for transmission of an object.
Communication apparatus capable of referring to transmission job history, control method therefor, and storage medium storing control program therefor
A communication apparatus that enables to refer to transmission history information in response to settings of use proprieties for transmission methods. A recording unit records a history of a transmission job executed by the communication apparatus as transmission history information that includes a transmitting destination at least. A setting unit sets a use propriety of each of the transmission methods. A determination unit determines whether reference to the transmission history information is permitted in response to the use propriety of each of the transmission methods set by the setting unit and the transmitting destination included in the transmission history information, when a user instructs to refer to the transmission history information.
Method and apparatus for processing message
A method for a mobile terminal to process a message, including: receiving a message, the message including a sender identification for a sender of the message and communication information; and updating an address book locally stored in the mobile terminal based on the sender identification and the communication information.
Computer readable non-transitory medium, electronic mail information send method and electronic mail information send device
A computer readable, non-transitory medium storing a program that causes a computer to execute a process, the process includes: accepting electronic mail information including mail body text information and address information designated by a first user; accepting a request of a second user that designates the electronic mail information; referring to a storage unit that relates address information to human resource information of a person corresponding to the address and stores the address information and the human resource information and extracting human resource information corresponding to address information included in the electronic mail information designated by the second user; and sending the extracted human resource information to a terminal the second user uses together with the mail body text information included in the electronic mail information.
Dual Fallback Hardened VoIP System with Signal Quality Measurement
A hardened VoIP system is presented that includes secure push-to-talk voice functionality. Through the addition of encryption, authentication, user filtering, and integration with new and existing LMR systems, a secure voice platform ensures malicious software, unauthorized access and brute force security attacks will not compromise the voice communications of the system. The VoIP system is engineered to ensure graceful system degradation in the event of maintenance activities, natural disasters and failure modes. The hardened VoIP system offers the functions a LMR trunking system while utilizing broadband connections. Private calls, group calls, Emergency Alarms with covert monitoring capability, scanning and priority scanning may be incorporated into the system. The system includes a VoIP controller that serves as a trunking controller, manages available VoIP based conference bridges, and assigns them as needed to the parties involved in each voice call. The system includes multiple fallback methods that may be prioritized based on pre-failure analytics.
Dynamic granular messaging persistence
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for dynamic, granular messaging persistence in a messaging system. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for dynamic, granular messaging persistence in a messaging system is provided. The method includes monitoring operational performance of a message broker and receiving a message for queuing in a message queue of the message broker. The method also includes parsing the message to extract different fields and corresponding priorities and selectively storing in fixed storage, data for corresponding ones of the different fields based upon consideration of corresponding ones of the priorities and the monitored operational performance. Finally, the method includes queuing the message in the message queue.
Managing query subscription renewals in a messaging platform
This disclosure relates to streaming real-time messages over time to client applications according to query subscriptions that match content from a large stream of messages exchanged on a messaging platform in a manner that increases the speed of message delivery, effectively controls the management of computer resources to handle the fluctuation of the number of active query subscriptions, and/or increases the security of matching the query subscriptions against messages generated from the perspective of the authors while delivering those messages in real-time from the perspective of the users that initiated the query subscriptions.
SAFETY DETERMINING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A safety determining apparatus includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to acquire information on a user operation and an access target of the user operation, acquire information indicating a behavior of refraining from gaining access with respect to the access target by analyzing the user operation, and provide a user with information on the safety of the access target with respect to which the behavior has been executed.
