Scanning tool for detecting sensitive information in text transmissions
The present invention relates to a scanning tool for text transmissions which identifies potentially sensitive text. In exemplary embodiments, a guardian application scans regular email (and calendar appointments) subject, message body, and attachments for key words that identify if a document is potentially sensitive and it notifies the user with specifics if key words are found. If the guardian application cannot scan (either an image or a document with text that cannot be scanned), it notifies the user, requests them to open and review the document, and requires the user to select if they have or have not reviewed the document. It will not send the email if the user selects that they have not reviewed the document.
Integration of an email, service and a messaging service
A messaging system may receive a first message in a conversation. It may be determined that the first message comprises information indicative of an email address associated with an email participant. At least one database may store an association between the email address and the conversation. The messaging service may generate an identifier for identifying the conversation by an external email service associated with the email address and send the identifier to the external email service associated with the email address.
Role-based access control enabled corporate email
A method comprising: receiving, by a first email client, an input specifying one or more permissions that are associated with an email message, any of the permissions being associated with a corresponding action, any of the permissions indicating whether a recipient of the email message is permitted to perform the permission's corresponding action on the email message; and transmitting, by the first email client, the email message and the one or more permissions to an email server.
Method and system for linking product page on social media
Systems, methods and manufactures related to providing links to products and services on social media are disclosed. The method, at a computing system, the includes identifying, for a post on a social media platform, a product or a service associated with the post; finding an e-commerce site selling the product or service; monitoring comments to the post on the social media platform; determining that a comment relates to where to obtain the identified product or service; and providing a link to the product or service on the e-commerce site as a response to the comment.
Electronic Messaging Systems
A computer system for facilitating communications between users is configured for: (A) receiving, from a first user, one or more user watch area attributes; (B) using the one or more user watch area attributes to define a watch area; (C) receiving, from a second user, a message associated with a geographical location; (D) determining whether the geographical location is located within the user watch area; (E) at least partially in response to determining that the geographical location is located within the user watch area, subscribing the first user to a thread of messages that includes the message; and (F) dynamically adjusting a shape of the user watch area based, at least in part, on a factor selected from a group consisting of: (1) a number of message postings within the user watch area; and (2) a population density of an area that is within the user watch area.
APPLICATION FIREWALL
A firewall uses information about an application that originates a network request to determine whether and how to forward the request over a network. The firewall may more generally rely on the identity of the originating application, the security state of the originating application, the security state of the endpoint, and any other information that might provide an indication of malicious activity, to make routing and forwarding decisions for endpoint-originated network traffic.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR GROUP-BASED COMMUNICATION INTERFACE WITH EMAIL CHANNELING
Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for executing an email communication import protocol in a selected group-based communication interface within a group-based communication system. The group-based communication system allows for receiving one or more email communication corpus associated with email communication accounts and parsing the email communication corpus to identify email communication account identifiers. The group-based communication system thereafter creates and transmits group-based communication interface invitations to the email communication accounts to allow access to the group-based communication interface. Upon access to the group-based communication interface, content from the email communication corpus may be included in the group-based communication interface.
COMMUNICATION SUPPORT SERVER, COMMUNICATION SUPPORT SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION SUPPORT METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION SUPPORT PROGRAM
A communication support server includes: a message content analysis unit configured to analyze a content of a message transmitted from a first terminal device used by a first user and/or a second terminal device used by a second user; an assistance necessity determination unit configured to determine whether assistance related to input of another message is necessary for the first user or the second user in accordance with the content of the message analyzed by the message content analysis unit; and an assist message generation unit configured to generate an assist message to be transmitted only to the first terminal device or the second terminal device in accordance with the content of the message analyzed, if the assistance necessity determination unit determines that assistance is necessary.
System and Method of Creating and Organizing Private Chat Messages
A system and method are disclosed for generating a chat space for two or more communication devices using a computer coupled with a database and comprising a processor and memory. The computer generates a chat space and transmits requests to join the chat space to the two or more communication devices. The computer stores in memory identification information for each of the two or more communication devices and one or more public chat messages transmitted between the two or more communication devices. The computer monitors for one or more requests, transmitted from one of the two or more communication devices to the computer, to generate a private thread. In response to one or more requests, the computer generates a private thread, and stores in the computer memory one or more private thread messages transmitted between two or more communication devices in the private thread.
GESTURE-BASED COMMUNITY MODERATION
Various techniques for gesture-based community moderation are described, including activating a moderator application at a computing platform hosting a syndication of electronic messages, receiving a signal causing presentation of an electronic message at an interface, detecting an input associated with a position of each of the electronic messages on the interface and activating an automatic action by the moderator application, determining if a non-compliant message component is included in the each of the electronic messages, modifying each of the electronic messages if the non-compliant message component is detected, invoking a predicted automatic action based on the modified electronic message, and displaying the modified electronic message in a different position of the interface.
