MANAGED NETWORK CONTENT MONITORING AND FILTERING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for content request monitoring and filtering for a plurality of managed devices in a managed network uses a smart PAC file that is uniquely associated with a particular user using a particular managed device and a DNS look up to perform both the logging/monitoring of the content request and the filtering without a hardware appliance or partial proxying.
MANAGING MEMBERSHIP RIGHTS IN A DATA EXCHANGE
Systems and methods for managing membership in a private data exchange are provided herein. In one embodiment, the method includes generating a plurality of listings in a data exchange. A first listing of the plurality of listings may include a reference to a first version of shared data within a first database, where the first version is one of a plurality of versions of the shared data within the first database. The method further includes receiving a request from a member of the data exchange for access to the first listing and limiting, by a processing device, access for the member to the first version of the shared data of the first database referenced by the first listing.
Mobile notifications for comment threads
A document system tracks activity within comment threads associated with portions of a stored document. When activity is detected within the document, the document system generates a corresponding notification for display by a client device within a notification interface. The notification interface displays one or more notifications, each associated with activity in documents stored by the document system, and orders the notifications by document, by date, by filter, or any other suitable factor. The user may assign a priority to each document or folder such that notifications associated with documents or folders with a higher priority are displayed before those associated with a lower priority. The notifications may include portions of comment threads, and a user can reply to a comment thread via a response element of the notification interface. The user's reply is incorporated into the comment thread and stored by the document system.
Generating aggregated media content items for a group of users in an electronic messaging application
Systems and methods are provided for aggregating media content in an electronic messaging application starts with server system receiving from first client device a first media content item and a selection of client devices including second client device. Server system generates a group including first client device and client devices in the selection. Server system causes a group selectable item including a new item indication to be displayed by client devices included in the group. In response to receiving a first signal that indicates that a first portion of the group selectable item has been selected, server system causes the first media content item to be displayed by second client device. Once the first media content item is displayed for a period of time, server system removes the new item indication from the group selectable item and causes the group selectable item to be displayed by second client device. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Information processing apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium storing information processing program
An information processing apparatus includes a conversation presentation unit that present conversation contents in a conversation, which is performed by plural persons, in time series, a reception unit that receives a request, an urging presentation unit that presents urging of a response to the request, and a shifting unit that shifts a screen so as to be capable of presenting a conversation content before or after the request is made, in a case where the response is made.
Targeted notification of content availability to a mobile device
A system includes a first computing device client associated with a first user in a community of users operable to send content to publish to a data aggregation server. The data aggregation server is operable to receive the content to publish from the first computing device client, host a first user profile associated with the first user of the first computing device client, the first user profile identifying a targeted recipient in the community of users, and disseminate automatically the content received from the first computing device client to a second computing device client associated with the targeted recipient, without receiving input from the first computing device client explicitly specifying the targeted recipient to whom the content is disseminated.
Systems and methods for initiating external actions via a group-based communication system
A group-based communication platform can present, via a client device of the group-based communication platform, a user interface that includes a user interface element, interaction therewith, invoking a command associated with an external system. Based at partly on receiving an indication of an interaction with the user interface element, the group-based communication platform can cause payload data to be provided to the external system, wherein the payload data is associated with an indication of the command invoked via the interaction. Based at least partly on causing the payload data to be provided to the external system, a response to the payload data can be received and an interactive dialog can be presented via the user interface. The interactive dialog can be configured to prompt a user of the client device for data to be provided to the external system for performing a processing action associated with the command.
Message processing method, apparatus and device
A message processing method includes: acquiring an unread message in the communication software; identifying contents of the unread message to obtain summary information of the unread message; and outputting the summary information.
Techniques for extensible message indexing
Techniques for extensible message indexing are described. In one embodiment, an apparatus may comprise a client front-end component of a messaging system operative to receive an incoming message from a client device; identify a sending client service for the incoming message at the client front-end component; determine a service identifier index value for the sending client service at the client front-end component; and store the incoming message in a message queue using the service identifier index value. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Method and apparatus for detecting fake news in a social media network
Messages are transmitted in a social media network. Embeddings of social media network users in the social media network are inferred. Propagation pathways over which the plurality of messages are transmitted through the social media network are classified. Action is taken on one or more of the messages that are transmitted through the social media network, based on the classification of the propagation pathways over which the messages are transmitted through the social media network and the inferred embeddings of the social media network users.
