MEDICAL SYSTEM

A medical system comprises an operation table, a magnetic navigation apparatus, a medical image apparatus, and an optical positioning apparatus. The magnetic navigation apparatus is configured to navigate a positioning medical tool to a lesion region on the medical path. The optical positioning apparatus comprises an imaging module and at least three first markers provided on the medical image apparatus. The optical positioning apparatus is configured to acquire the position of the medical image apparatus relative to the imaging module. The medical image apparatus is configured to move according to the position of the medical image apparatus relative to the imaging module to scan a head end region of the positioning medical tool to acquire an image, and reconstruct a two-dimensional image and/or a three-dimensional model of the head end region of the positioning medical tool.

PENDANT FOR MOBILE MEDICAL PLATFORMS

Certain aspects relate to systems and techniques for operating a medical platform that may include a table with a base and table top, one or more robotic arms that are coupled to the table, one or more wheel assemblies coupled to the base to support and move the base in a physical environment, and an input device configured to receive user inputs of a first type. The mobile medical platform may be configured to receive a first user input of the first input type via the input device. The mobile medical platform may be configured to, in response to receiving the first user input of the first input type and in accordance with a determination that the first user input meets first criteria, initiate first movement of the at least one motorized wheel in accordance with the first user input of the first input type.

MEDICAL SYSTEM

A medical system, comprises an operation table, a magnetic navigation apparatus and a medical image apparatus. The magnetic navigation apparatus and the medical image apparatus are respectively provided beside the operation table, and the operation table can be transmitted by rays of the medical image apparatus. The magnetic navigation apparatus is configured to navigate, according to a medical path, a positioning medical tool to a lesion region on the medical path. The medical image apparatus is configured to scan a head end region of the positioning medical tool to acquire a medical image, and to reconstruct a two-dimensional image and/or a three-dimensional model of the head end region of the positioning medical tool, so as to confirm the surrounding condition of the positioning medical tool and whether the positioning medical tool reaches a correct position.

PATIENT POSITIONING SUPPORT APPARATUS WITH FAIL-SAFE CONNECTOR ATTACHMENT MECHANISM

A patient support apparatus for supporting a patient in a prone position during a surgical procedure is provided, including an open fixed frame suspended above a floor and a pair of spaced opposed radially sliding joints cooperating with the frame, each joint including a virtual pivot point and an arc of motion spaced from the virtual pivot point, the joints being movable along the arc providing a pivot ship mechanism for a pair of pelvic pads attached to the joints. A base for supporting and suspending a patient support structure above the floor, for supporting a patient during a surgical procedure, the base including a pair of spaced opposed vertical translation subassemblies reversibly attachable to a patient support structure, a cross-bar, and a rotation subassembly having two degrees of rotational freedom; wherein a location of each vertical translation subassembly is substantially constant during operation of the patient support structure.

Systems and methods for controlling multiple surgical variables

A surgical patient interface including a base; a platform coupled to the base and including a first end and a second end, the platform configured to transition between a first position and a second position about a pivotable axis stationary relative to the base; a first abutment and a second abutment each adjustably coupled to the platform. In the first position, the platform extends between the first end and the second end in a substantially horizontal direction relative to the base, and the first abutment and the second abutment are separated by a first distance along the substantially horizontal direction. In the second position, the platform extends between the first end and the second end in a substantially vertical direction such that a torso of a patient extends in the substantially vertical direction, and the first abutment and the second abutment are separated by a second, different distance along the substantially vertical direction.

Mattress cover for a mattress providing rotation therapy to a patient

A mattress cover for a mattress providing movement therapy to a patient. A patient support portion covers the upper surface of the mattress, and a bottom portion is coupled to the patient support portion. The mattress cover may substantially encase the mattress. An augmenting feature is associated with a peripheral portion with the augmenting feature adapted to move between a stored configuration, and a deployed configuration in response to increasing thickness of the mattress during the movement therapy. The augmenting feature may include concertinaed material, such as thermoformed plastic, and/or a fold of material coupled to the peripheral portion. The patient support portion and the bottom portion may at least partially overlap and be moveable relative to one another. The mattress cover may be included on a mattress overlay having a patient turning device, or on the mattress supported on a patient support apparatus.

Surgical boot with splined support rod

A limb support comprises a spar, a limb rest, and a coupler. The spar is configured to be supported from a patient support apparatus and adjustable relative to the patient support and has a longitudinal axis. The coupler includes a release that is selectively actuable to release locking mechanisms to permit adjustment of the limb support relative to the spar.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAINTAINING PATIENT POSITION

Some systems, devices and methods detailed herein provide adjustable restraint device maintaining a selected position of a person relative to a support structure, for example, to maintain a safe and customizable patient position during a surgical procedure or during medical transport.

Systems and methods for supporting and stabilizing a patient during hip distraction

A method for hip distraction includes positioning a patient on a slide-resisting pad placed on a surgical table; tilting the surgical table so that the patient is in a first degree of inclination; applying a distraction force to a leg of the patient while the patient is in the first degree of inclination so that a hip joint of the patient is distracted, wherein the distraction force is opposed by a combination of a slide-resisting friction force provided by the slide-resisting pad and a gravitational force attributable to the first degree of inclination; reducing the tilt of the surgical table in accordance with a reduction of the distraction force over time so that the patient is in a second degree of inclination; and performing at least a portion of a surgical procedure on the distracted hip joint while the patient is in the second degree of inclination.

Fail-safe release mechanism for use with patient positioning support apparati

A surgery table includes a patient support structure coupled to a connection assembly and a base structure coupled to the connection assembly. The connection assembly includes an arm and a locking member that engages the arm. The arm includes spaced apart first and second apertures. The locking member includes spaced apart first and second bores. A first key member and a second key member are included.
