BIRTH ASSISTING MODULE AND BIRTHING FURNITURE
A birth assisting module for being arranged in a region of a birth furniture where a pelvis of a mother is intended to be placed during birth, includes a pelvis mobilization support, a movement mechanics and a drive unit. The pelvis mobilization support is coupled to the movement mechanics. The movement mechanics is adapted to induce a controlled cadenced displacement of the pelvis mobilization support. The controlled cadenced displacement moves the pelvis mobilization support by at least 1 cm or at least 3 cm and preferably by at least 5 cm. The drive unit is connected to the movement mechanics to actuate the movement mechanics.
Medical device
A surgical operation table capable of operating a table with a large slide width without a slide mechanism interfering with other members in a slide operation of the table is provided. A surgical operation table S including a table 10 movable in a horizontal direction to a base 2 includes a slide mechanism 20 that moves the table 10 in the horizontal direction, and the slide mechanism 20 includes a rack 21a extending in a longitudinal direction of the table 10, a driving gear 26, a driven gear 27 and an idler gear 28 that are meshed with the rack 21a and rotate integrally, and an actuator 23 that supplies a rotational driving force to at least one of the gears 26 to 28.
Modular surgical system
A modular surgical system includes a base and a column extending from the base. An adaptor is positioned at a top of the column. An elevation assembly is provided to adjust a height of the adaptor. A control system is positioned in at least one of the base or the column. The control system is configured to communicate with remote devices. The control system is further configured to control the elevation assembly.
SUBJECT AND SURGICAL EQUIPMENT MONITORING SYSTEMS
A surgical monitoring system including a machine vision sensor, an electronic controller communicatively coupled to the machine vision sensor, the electronic controller including a processor and a memory storing a computer readable instruction set, where, when the computer readable instruction set is executed by the processor, the electronic controller, detects a position of a subject with the machine vision sensor, detects a position of a person support apparatus, compares the detected position of the subject with the detected position of the person support apparatus, and determines if the detected position of the subject and the detected position of the person support apparatus indicates that the subject is not aligned with the person support apparatus.
Examination table
An examination table that can be used in other places than a hospital is provided. A portable examination table comprises a seat part for supporting a bottom of a patient, an angle-changeable backrest part for supporting a back of the patient, a pair of angle-changeable arm parts, abutting parts configured to be raised or lowered when the angle of the arm parts relative to the seat part is changed and abut the back of the knees of the patient, and link parts configured to link the arm parts to the backrest part and change the angle of the arm parts, and is configured to convert between an end-sitting positioning state, a lithotomy positioning state, and a folded state.
Surgical table and accessories to facilitate hip arthroscopy
Embodiments disclosed herein concern a distraction system for use with a surgical table having a table portion and a base portion. The distraction system includes a pair of arms rotatably connectable to the base portion at a proximal end portion of each arm. A pair of telescopically adjustable support posts extend upwardly from corresponding arms. Each arm rotates about a vertically oriented axis to provide for hip adduction and abduction of a patient's leg. Each support post extends from a linear bearing attacked to the corresponding one of the pair of arms for movement along the arm to facilitate applying traction to a patient's leg. The system can also include a table extension attachable to the table portion and a friction pad mounted on the table extension.
MAGNETIC RESTING APPARATUS WITH COMPRESSED STATIC MAGNETIC FIELDS
The resting apparatus, such as a bed, and methods of stimulating the immune system to treat damaged and abnormal tissue using compressed static magnetic fields provides for noninvasive treatment of damages tissue and removal of abnormal tissue. At least two magnets are positioned to have their static magnetic fields compressed at the damaged or abnormal tissue and at the immediately surrounding healthy tissue. The compressed static magnetic fields stimulate the immune system in the immediately surrounding healthy tissue which treats the damaged or abnormal tissue. The treated tissue fully regenerates without additional medical intervention. The devices provide for efficient exposure to compressed magnetic fields and ease of use at different locations on a body and different types of animal species.

Vacuum pad and related system
A vacuum pad may include a top layer forming a top surface of the vacuum pad; a bottom layer forming a bottom surface of the vacuum pad; and a plurality of spacers located between the top layer and the bottom layer such that an interior space is formed between the top layer and the bottom layer. The interior space may have at least one channel extending around at least one spacer of the plurality of spacers. The vacuum pad may also include an outlet tube in fluid communication with the interior space, where the top layer includes a plurality of holes. A vacuum system may include the vacuum pad along with a canister and a vacuum source for moving fluid from the vacuum pad to the canister.
METHOD OF SECURING A PATIENT ONTO AN OPERATING OR SURGICAL TABLE WHEN THE PATIENT IS IN A POSITION, SUCH AS TRENDELENBURG, FOR A HIP PROCEDURE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR INCLUDING A KIT
Method of securing a patient onto an operating or surgical table when the patient is in a position for a hip procedure and apparatus therefor including a kit.
