Systems and methods for providing individualized communication service
A method for providing individualized communication service includes (1) recognizing a first client being communicatively coupled to a first local communication network, (2) determining an identity of the first client, (3) transporting first data between the first client and a first operator communication network, using the first local communication network in accordance with a first service profile associated with the first client, and (4) transporting the first data using the first operator communication network in accordance with the first service profile.
Data sending method and forwarding device
A data sending method includes receiving, by a forwarding device using a first flexible Ethernet (FlexE) group and in multiple timeslots included in a first timeslot set, multiple first encoded data blocks from a physical coding sublayer (PCS), determining, by the forwarding device according to the timeslots included in the first timeslot set and the first FlexE group, a second FlexE group and multiple timeslots included in a second timeslot set, and sending, by the forwarding device, the first encoded data blocks using the second FlexE group and in the timeslots included in the second timeslot set.
Systems and methods for transmitting control data in a communication network
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and system for transmitting a sequence with low peak-to-average-power-ratio (PAPR). A communication system receives control data. A transmitter of the communication system comprises a plurality of sequences which are associated with the control data in the transmitter. The transmitter selects a sequence from the plurality of sequence. The selected sequence is rotated, pre-coded for generating pre-coded sequence. DFT is applied on the pre-coded sequence for generating frequency domain signals. The frequency domain signals are processed and corresponding waveform is transmitted to a receiver of the communication system. The receiver receives the waveform and is processed to extract the sequence from the waveform. The receiver correlates the extracted sequence with plurality of sequences stored in receiver memory to detect the control data. The generated waveform has low PAPR.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ESTABLISHING A SHARED AUGMENTED REALITY SESSION
Methods and systems of establishing a shared augmented reality session between a first computing device and a second computing device are disclosed. The first and second computing devices perform proximity device discovery using a first data communication technology. The first and second computing devices then perform real-time network communication using a second data communication technology. Once the real-time network communication is established, the first and second computing devices perform coordinate space synchronization using the second data communication technology.
Methods and apparatus to measure exposure to streaming media
Methods and apparatus to measure exposure to streaming media are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a server to access metadata identifying media presented to a user, and cookie data, the metadata and the cookie data provided by a client device. A user identifier comparator is to determine whether the cookie data identifies the user to the database proprietor, the server to, in response to the user identifier comparator determining that the cookie data does not identify the user to the database proprietor, send a redirect message instructing the client device to retransmit the metadata to a next-hop location. A metadata transmitter is to, in response to the user identifier comparator determining that the cookie data does identify the user to the database proprietor, provide the metadata and the user identifier to a central facility.
Unsubscribe automation
Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses may assist a consumer in unsubscribing to unwanted mailing list traffic and email based relationships. A consumer's discovered accounts and subscriptions may be listed and displayed to the consumer. For each identified account or subscription, the unsubscribe method may be determined and automated for the consumer.
SERVER, OPTICAL TRANSMISSION METHOD, OPTICAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, AND OPTICAL TRANSMISSION PROGRAM
A server (1A) that performs optical transmission using an optical transmission line (f) includes a transmitter (Tx 11a) that transmits an optical signal to another server (1B), a receiver (Rx 12a) that receives the optical signal from the other server (1B), a storage device (20a) that stores data and an error correction code (ECC) added to the data, and a control unit (CPU 21a) that controls conversion of the data and the ECC into the optical signal, conversion of the optical signal into the data and the ECC, and error correction of the data using the ECC, and a transmission distance of the optical transmission line (f) is a transmission distance for which an error rate does not exceed an allowable value of the error rate before correction which makes the error rate after correction based on the error correction using the ECC be equal to or less than a reference error rate.
Method for detecting faults in operating states of surgical robots
This invention relates to a method for detecting faults in the operating states of a surgical robotic system, wherein the surgical robotic system including a master computer, a master embedded computer and a plurality of slave embedded computers is provided; the master computer controls the master embedded computer and the slave embedded computers via the LAN router; the master embedded computer communicates with the slave embedded computers via the LAN router and a first communication bus. In the present invention, the master computer, the master embedded computer and the slave embedded computers can detect faults interactively. Safety and reliability of the operation of the surgical robotic system can be improved without increasing any additional detection components, and communication burden of the system can be effectively reduced. The present invention can be widely applied to a minimally invasive surgical robotic system.
