Methods and apparatus to collect distributed user information for media impressions and search terms are disclosed. An example method includes accessing, from a media device, a first identifier and a search term at a first server, the first identifier corresponding to at least one of the media device or a user of the media device, the search term associated with a search request, generating a second identifier based on the first identifier, sending the second identifier and the search term from the first server to a data collection server to facilitate the data collection server to logging the search request, and receiving user information associated with the search request from a database proprietor based on the second identifier.

The communication apparatus includes a communication protocol module and a QUIC module. The communication protocol module is configured to send a first request to establish a first PDU session for a first data network, receive a first response indicating that the first PDU session is successfully established, and after receiving the first response, send, to the QUIC module, a first notification including a first IP address. The QUIC module is configured to, after receiving the first notification, send, to an application server of the first data network, a second request to establish a first QUIC connection, and receive a second response that indicates that the first QUIC connection is successfully established. An IP address on a terminal device side of the first QUIC connection is the first IP address.

Method and apparatus for encoding and transmitting at least a spatial part of a video sequence
When encoding and transmitting video data comprising regions of interest, different usages of the regions of interest implicate different kinds of combination of region of interest at decoding. By studying the different impacts of the encoding mechanisms depending on other set of tiles data on the different kind of combination, it is possible to define a plurality of tile set coding dependency levels. Each tile set coding dependency level is linked to a set of constraints on encoding. These set of constraints have different impacts on the possibilities allowed when combining the different regions of interest. It is therefore possible, based on a desired usage, to select an encoding with minimal restrictions, as defined by a given tile coding dependency level, compatible with the desired usage. Accordingly, the encoding efficiency is improved, for a given usage, compared to a solution where a complete tile independency solution is used.
IMS routing based on subscriber type
A network operator can partition network elements, including elements of an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) or Policy and Charging Rules Functions (PCRFs) into groups reserved for specific types of subscribers. When a user equipment (UE) registers with an IMS, elements of the IMS can contact a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) to determine a subscriber type associated with the UE. Based on the UE's subscriber type, an IMS element can determine an application server or other IMS element to contact about the UE based on identifying application servers or IMS elements that are also associated with the same subscriber type as the UE. Similarly, an IMS element can determine a PCRF to contact about the UE based on identifying a PCRF that is associated with the same subscriber type as the UE.

A network operator can partition network elements, including elements of an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) or Policy and Charging Rules Functions (PCRFs) into groups reserved for specific types of subscribers.
