MOBILIZATION MODULE AND MOBILIZATION FURNITURE

A mobilisation module (1) for mobilising a body part of a patient comprises a body part support, a movement mechanics (4; 40) and a drive unit (6; 60). The body part support is coupled to the movement mechanics (4; 40). The movement mechanics (4; 40) is adapted to induce a controlled cadenced displacement of the body part support. The controlled cadenced displacement moves the body part support by at least 1 cm or at least 3 cm and preferably by at least 5 cm. The drive unit (6; 60) is connected to the movement mechanics (4; 40) to actuate the movement mechanics (4; 40).

STOOLS, CHAIRS, AND METHODS USING THE SAME
20190281984 · 2019-09-19 ·

An apparatus that supports a user in a variety of positions to comfortably perform tasks, such as applying one or more tattoos to skin of a subject is herein disclosed. The apparatus can be reconfigured to optimally position and support the arms and/or chest of the user. A method for using a stool can involve rotating armrests of the apparatus from a stowed position to a deployed position. The armrests can support the user's forearms while supporting the user's chest such that the user can comfortably perform tasks in front of a chest support of the stool.

Surgical positioning system

A surgical positioning system includes a flexible air-impermeable shell filled with beads that is wrapped against the patient and subjected to a vacuum to hold the patient in place. An air-impermeable top wall can be joined with an air-impermeable bottom wall to define a plurality of chambers. Each of the chambers can include a peripheral edge that extends around the periphery of the respective chamber. The plurality of chambers can include a first shoulder chamber, a second shoulder chamber, and a main chamber.

A dynamic-directional seat pad which contains an inflating element (1), wherein a plan view of the inflatable element (1) contains a back side (4), concave sides (2) and a concave front side (3).

Portable leg cast support
10376072 · 2019-08-13 ·

A portable leg cast support includes an upper member and a lower member in a telescoping relation. A row of locking holes spanning the length of the upper member allows the telescoping components to be locked together at a user-selectable height for supporting a user's leg cast at an elevated position. A stirrup is pivotally connected to the top of the upper telescopic member for accepting and supporting a leg at the ankle. When the upper and lower telescoping members are in a retracted configuration and the stirrup is folded against the upper member, the support can be strapped to the leg cast for transport until it is needed as a support.

Pressing tool for pelvic floor muscle group

With respect to a pressing tool main body 10B of a pressing tool for a pelvic floor muscle group 1B, a convex upper surface has a hardness of 10 to 20, which is a value of the International Rubber Hardness Degree (IRHD) complying with JIS K 6253, when the pressing tool main body 10B is in an initial state in which the pressing tool main body 10B is subject to no external force and is not squashed, and has a hardness of 25 to 35, which is a value of the International Rubber Hardness Degree (IRHD) complying with JIS K 6253, when the pressing tool main body 10B is subject to an external force, and a height from a seat surface to the convex upper surface becomes a half of the height from the seat surface to the convex upper surface in the initial state.

Portable examination chair

A pivoting examination chair mechanism for an examination chair related to a substantially immovable examination tool, which includes a rotation mechanism portion rotating about a first vertical axis, a rotation arm integral with, and extending from, the rotation mechanism portion, and a chair support portion attached proximate a distal end of the rotation arm and offset from the rotating base portion including a chair gimbal, in which the chair gimbal rotates around a second vertical axis and the first and second vertical axes are substantially parallel to one another, so that moving the rotation arm through 180, the examination chair is moved about the first vertical axis to provide a clear access area to the substantially immovable examination tool.

PERSONAL MOBILITY ASSISTANCE DEVICES WITH LIGHT SETS AND LIGHT SET KITS

A personal mobility assistance device includes lights that accent the shape of the device. The lights include a battery, a wire, and a plurality of light emitting devices connected to the wire and powered by the battery. The light emitting devices are spaced sufficiently close to each other along the wire such that, when the vehicle is observed in low light conditions, the shape of the personal mobility assistance device is discernable to the observer.

GUIDEWIRE WITH INTEGRAL EXPANDABLE DILATOR

A dilation apparatus includes a handle assembly, a dilator, a guidewire, and a steering assembly. The dilator is connected to the handle assembly and is configured to transition between an unexpanded state and an expanded state. The guidewire is longitudinally fixed relative to the dilator. The steering assembly is configured to laterally deflect at least a portion of the guidewire relative to the handle assembly. The steering assembly includes an actuator coupled with the handle assembly and a pull wire extending between the actuator and guidewire. A portion of the pull wire is attached to the guidewire. The actuator is configured to move the pull wire relative to the handle assembly in order to laterally deflect the at least a portion of the guidewire.
