Seat positioning system for a wheelchair
A seat positioning system includes a base frame having a pair of forward slots and a pair of rear slots, and a seat frame having a front end and a back end. The seat frame is coupled to the base frame and movable relative to the base frame. A first pair of linkages is slideably coupled to the pair of forward slots and connects the frames. A first pair of locking devices has a locked configuration adapted to prevent the first pair of linkages from sliding relative to the pair of forward slots and an unlocked configuration adapted to allow the first pair of linkages to slide relative to the pair of forward slots. A second pair of linkages slideably is coupled to the pair of rear slots and connects the frames. An actuator is pivotally connected to both the seat frame and the base frame and is configured to extend and contract to move the seat frame relative to the base frame.

Therapeutic session restraint chair
A restraint chair includes a supporting frame with a seat and a desk. A wrist capture bar is associated with the desk and is displaceable between a retracted position and an extended position. An ankle capture bar is associated with the desk pedestal and is displaceable between a disengaged position and an engaged position. Control levers positioned behind the seat are coupled with the wrist capture bar and the ankle capture bar via a link assembly. Translation of the control levers effects respective displacement of the wrist capture bar between the retracted position and the extended position and of the ankle capture bar between the disengaged position and the engaged position.
Mobile arm support
A support assembly for a portion of a user's body includes a pivotable frame with a top elongated member, a bottom elongated member, a first side member and a second side member, the top elongated member and bottom elongated members each having first and second ends that are pivotably connected to top and bottom ends of the first side member and the second side member, respectively. A support element is operatively connected to the pivotable frame and a tensioner mechanism is adapted to adjust an amount of force required to move the support element relative to the first side member. The tension member is disposed within one of the top and the bottom elongated member and exerts a tensile force parallel to the longitudinal center axis of the one of the top and the bottom elongated member.
Medical irrigation device and method
An apparatus for supporting an extremity during tissue debridement and capturing fluid and tissue resulting from tissue debridement includes an extremity-supporting base and barrier shroud. The apparatus can be used in tissue debridement procedures to contain and control drainage of fluid and tissue. The apparatus supports and encloses a patient extremity, such as an arm or a leg. The base has a length, proximal end (i.e., nearest the patient's body), and distal end (i.e., farthest from the patient's body). The shroud has a top portion, bottom portion, and shroud drainage opening. A method includes debriding tissue from a patient extremity while supported by the base and at least partially enclosed within the barrier shroud, which acts as a shield for fluid and tissue emanating from the extremity. Fluid and tissue exits the shroud through a shroud drainage opening.
Surgical arm positioner with sterile disposable support
An arm retainer for supporting a patient's arm at a desired position on an articulatable support assembly secured to an operating table. The arm retainer includes a rigid arm tray (11) provided with a pair of spaced openings (16) for securement of a disposable arm support liner (10) to the tray. The arm support liner (10) is comprised of a sheet of malleable material (13) with a soft engagement surface (14) for skin contact with the patient and is provided with a predetermined cut configuration for wrapping the malleable liner (10) about the patient's arm for retention of the arm therein. The liner (10) has two spaced foldout tabs (17) aligned with the corresponding tray openings (16) for securing the liner to the tray (11) by folding the tabs (17) through respective of the openings (16) and thereafter against the bottom side (9) of the tray.
Yoni Seat
The multipurpose chair will be constructed from one continuous piece of antimicrobial, nonporous, hard plastic such that no crevices are created that could harbor pathogens. The multipurpose chair may be internally steel reinforced for additional strength and durability. The seat base bottom will have a non-skid, non-slip surgace. The multipurpose chair will provide the user with a safe, sanitary and comfortable seat while offering stability and support in a variety of positions both in and out of the shower. The open front and central design providing access to intimate areas during childbirth, shaving, steaming and waxing.
ATHLETIC CHAIR WITH ADJUSTABLE HEATING AND HEIGHT
A seating assembly for athletes includes seats having a back and seat portion, a base, an adjustable element, a user interface device, and a controller. The back portion includes a back heating member that provides heat to a user's torso. The seat portion includes a lower limb heating member that provides heat to the user's lower limbs. The base supports each seat. The adjustable element is coupled to the base and one of the seats and adjusts height of the seat. The user interface device receives an input regarding a desired temperature of the back heating member and the lower limb heating member. The controller receives the input and adjusts an operation of the back heating member and the lower limb heating member to achieve the desired temperature. The user interface device receives a second input to adjust the a height of the seat relative to the floor surface.
