Invalid area specifying method for touch panel of mobile terminal
09843664 · 2017-12-12 · ·

A touch-panel cellular phone specifies an invalid area not accepting a user's input operation on a touch panel in advance. The cellular phone detects a user's touch area on the touch panel so as to execute a function pre-assigned to the touch area not encompassed by the invalid area. Additionally, it is possible to reduce and display menu icons in the display area precluding the invalid area on the touch panel. Thus, it is possible to prevent an error operation when a user holding a cellular phone inadvertently touches the touch panel.

Apparatuses, methods and computer program products allowing communication via multiple access systems

In terms of enhancements in relation to, scenarios allowing communication via multiple access systems an example aspect of the present invention encompasses an apparatus, comprising a controller, configured to cause control of a transceiver which is configured to communicate via at least two access systems, receive at least two access control commands from distinct sources, each access control command commanding access to at least one of the at least two access systems, detect a conflict between at least part of the at least two commands, and in case of a detected conflict, resolve the conflict by causing to withdraw at least part of one of the at least two access control commands based on a priority relation between the at least two conflicting access control commands. Further, an apparatus is encompassed which comprises a controller, configured to cause control of a transceiver which is configured to communicate via an access system with a terminal, cause to transmit an access control command to said terminal, said access control command commanding access to at least one of at least two access systems available for said terminal, cause to receive a report from the terminal regarding a detected conflict relating to said access control command. Likewise, corresponding methods and computer program products are addressed.

Multilayer wiring board

A method reduces an area of a mounting electrode provided on a first surface of a multilayer body and connected to a specific component is reduced and decreases a pitch between mounting electrodes. A plating film is formed on the mounting electrodes with the reduced area. The mounting electrodes for connection to specific components are defined by first end surfaces of first via conductors, and hence, the areas of the mounting electrodes are significantly reduced, and the pitch between the mounting electrodes is significantly decreased. Also, the mounting electrodes defined by the first end surfaces of the first via conductors are connected to plane electrodes at end surfaces of second via conductors exposed from a surface of the multilayer body with internal wiring electrodes interposed therebetween. Thus, a plating film is able to be reliably provided on the mounting electrodes.

Data entry confirmation system for a device or system with dialing capability

A Data Entry Confirmation System (DECS) is provided whereby a user with a communication device capable of communicating with the DECS is able to perform a pre-dialing operation based on contact information inputted onto the communication device and transmitted by said communication device to the DECS. Thus, the DECS is able to perform a reverse caller ID operation allowing a user to confirm identity of the party the user wishes to call prior to actually calling the party. The DECS uses the input contact information to retrieve corresponding contact information from one or more databases with which it is in communication and transmit said output contact information to the user device.

CONTROL OF USER EQUIPMENT FUNCTIONALITY

A user equipment, network control node, method performed at a network control node and a method performed at a user equipment within a telecommunication network are disclosed. The method performed at the user equipment comprises: receiving an incoming call signal, the incoming call signal comprising a combined automatic answer and loudspeaker activation indication; in response to the incoming call signal, automatically answering the incoming call and activating a loudspeaker on the user equipment.

MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

A mobile terminal including a wireless communication unit configured to provide wireless communication; a display; and a back cover mounted to a rear surface of a body of the mobile terminal. Further, the back cover includes an accommodation unit formed on one surface of the back cover, and configured to accommodate a card inserted into the accommodation unit; a coil configured to convert an electric signal from the card into a magnetic signal to be transmitted to a payment machine; and a data terminal electrically connected to the coil, disposed at a position contacting a corresponding data terminal of the card inserted into the accommodation unit and configured to transfer the electrical signal from the card to the coil.

Power dissipation reduction in wireless transceivers

Processes, methods and circuits for improving battery life by reducing the battery power-drain of battery-powered devices with wireless receivers is disclosed. Embodiments provide for variably changing the bias current, impedance, and gain through a plurality of values, either separately or in combination, during receiver circuit operation to optimize power dissipation. The dynamic changes to gain, bias and impedance characteristics of the receiver circuit may occur in any of an amplifier, a filter, and a mixer, and are responsive to the components of an input signal comprising a desired signal and interferer signal. Dynamic changes may also be made to a dynamic range and noise floor of the receiver circuit.

Image/audio playback device of mobile communication terminal

In an image/audio playback technology in a mobile communication terminal, a single image is divided into two halves, i.e., left-half and right-half images, which are displayed on two mobile communication terminals, respectively. In addition, two mobile communication terminals can play left-side and right-side audio data, respectively, which compose stereo audio data, according to the relative locations of the two mobile communication terminals.

Method for realizing user interface using camera and mobile communication terminal for the same

A method for realizing a user interface using a camera module and a mobile communication terminal for the same. If a user makes a predetermined motion in a state in which the camera module of the mobile communication terminal is activated, the mobile communication terminal performs a predetermined action according to the motion pattern by recognizing the user motion and patterning the motion. In this case, the action performed according to the motion pattern corresponds to mouse control in a mouse mode, game control in a game mode, and character input in a character input mode.

Widget control of an electronic device

An electronic device comprises an executing module, a display module, and a display controller. The display controller makes the display module display a first display screen containing information about execution of a certain function during execution. The executing module starts execution of a widget for making the display module display information included in the first display screen while the certain function is executed and thereafter when execution of the certain function is finished, the executing module finishes execution of the widget When the display controller makes the display module display a display screen different from the first display screen while the widget is executed, the display controller incorporates widget execution information into a partial region of the different display screen based on execution of the widget. The widget execution information includes at least part of the information on the first display screen.
