Provisioning interfaces for accessing virtual private branch exchange services through a mobile device
Systems, methods and computer program products for facilitating the provisioning of a single and multi-line virtual private branch exchange (PBX) including automated call distribution via a mobile device are described. In some implementations, the provisioning of the single and multi-line virtual PBX can be achieved using one or more unique provisioning interfaces. The unique provisioning interfaces can enable the setup and configuration of a virtual PBX service account instantaneously from any geographical location at any time. Changes made to the virtual PBX service account can be immediately reflected back (e.g., in real-time) to the system providing the core operating environment.
Distributed antenna system architectures
One embodiment is directed to a distributed antenna system comprising a host unit and at least one remote antenna unit that is communicatively coupled to the host unit. The remote antenna unit is configured to perform self-interference suppression processing in an upstream signal path using, as an input thereto, a feedback signal derived from the downstream radio frequency signal radiated from the antenna. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Handling of simultaneous network communication transmission and D2D communication transmission
A radio frequency communication device (100) comprising a radio frequency communications interface (130) and a controller (110), wherein said controller (110) is configured to establish network communication with a network node (310) and to establish device-to-device communication with a second radio frequency communication device (325) via said radio frequency communication interface (130). The controller is further configured to determine whether there is to be performed a simultaneous transmission comprising a network transmission over said network communication with said network node (310) and a D2D transmission over said device-to-device communication with said second radio frequency communication device (325); determine if there is a transmission problem related to said simultaneous transmission; and if so determine a mitigation technique; and perform said network transmission and said D2D transmission according to said mitigation technique to mitigate said transmission problem.
Antenna device and electronic apparatus
Provided is an antenna device that achieves good communication characteristics when incorporated into an electronic apparatus. The antenna device incorporated into an electronic apparatus and configured to communicate with an external device via an electromagnetic field signal comprises: a metal plate serving as a first electric conductor, being provided inside a casing of the electronic apparatus and facing the external device; an antenna substrate provided inside the casing of the electronic apparatus, and having an antenna coil inductively coupled to the external device and wound around thereon; and metal foil serving as a second electric conductor in sheet form, being provided inside the casing of the electronic apparatus, overlapping or being in contact with the metal plate serving as the first electric conductor, and at least partially overlapping a surface of the antenna substrate, the surface being opposite to a surface facing the external device.
Solution to enforce time and usage threshold for monitoring
Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for enforcing time and usage limits are provided. One method includes allocating a usage allowance and time allowance for a group subscription to a network, and receiving a notification when a minimum threshold is reached for either the usage allowance or the time allowance within a certain duration. The method may further include determining a remainder of the usage allowance and a remainder of the time allowance by querying at least one policy and charging enforcement function, and reallocating the usage allowance and the time allowance based on the determined remainder of the usage allowance and the determined remainder of the time allowance.
System for binding multiple SIM cards to an electronic device
Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with multi SIM card device binding are described herein. According to one embodiment, a system includes an authentication logic configured to enable communication between an entity and a user. The user is associated with a user profile. The system further includes a carrier logic configured to identify a subscriber identity module (SIM) card of a carrier. The carrier logic also requests carrier data associated with the SIM card from the carrier. An update logic is configured to update the user profile with the carrier data.
Adaptable power-budget for mobile devices
Embodiments of methods and systems for adaptable power-budget for mobile devices are presented. In an embodiment, a method may include determining a classification of processes to be executed by a processing device. Such a method may also include detecting a process to be executed by the processing device. Additionally, the method may include selectively providing power to the processing device from one or more of a primary battery and a secondary battery in response to the classification of the detected process.
Smartphone
The invention relates to the field of communication device technology, more particularly, to a smartphone, the structures such as the handset and the physical buttons of the mobile phone are configured on the side or the back side of the phone body, so as to extend the display area (namely touch operation area) of the mobile phone to the whole front surface of the mobile phone, to realize full-screen display without borders, and to enhance the beauty of the appearance of the smart phone, thus to effectively improve the user experience.
Clamping apparatus for portable electronic device
A clamping apparatus includes: a base defining a holding plate; two clamping units installed on the machine base and movable relative to each other; a unidirectional restriction unit restricting the clamping units from moving toward a center of the holding plate, having a portion exposed to an exterior of the holding plate such that an applied pressure results in withdrawal of the portion into the base and releases the clamping units from moving, thereby permitting the clamping units to move toward each other to clamp an electronic device tightly; and a manipulating unit is disposed in the base and has an manipulating part exposed to an exterior of the base such that activation of the manipulating part results in causing simultaneous movement of the clamping units away from each other and releasing the electronic device from the clamping units.
Implementation of call-center outbound dialing capability at a telephony network level
A system (33) for outbound dialing for call centers (11) place an outbound dialer (21) at network level (13), and client call centers provide destination number calling lists. The outbound dialer (21), upon completing a call to a destination number, connects the completed call to a routing point at a client call center. The system (33) may be CTI-enhanced, and can be hosted by a client of a network provider, or by the network provider. Clients may subscribe to the network provider for service, providing calling lists and routing points, and completed calls may be routed to call centers operated by different clients. The architecture and method of the system (33) minimizes the number of leased lines required by each call center taking advantage of the system (33).
