CONTROL APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A control apparatus controls communication when a first communication apparatus configured to perform communication based on scheduling by using a first frequency and a second communication apparatus configured to perform communication by using a second frequency that allows communication without being based on scheduling concurrently communicate with a third communication apparatus. The control apparatus obtains information indicating the load state of the second communication apparatus and decides the distribution of data transmitted to the third communication apparatus with respect to the first communication apparatus and the second communication apparatus based on the information.
System and method for limiting access to an IP-based wireless telecommunications network based on access point IP address and/or MAC address
A system and method manages call connections between mobile subscribers and an EP-based wireless telecommunications network through a wireless access point. Communications between the mobile subscribers and the IP-based wireless telecommunications network are initiated by a registration request. During the registration request various identifiers (IMSI, MAC address, IP Address, etc.) are communicated to the system. The system is arranged to log the identifiers and associate those identifiers with the entry point (e.g., the wireless access point) into the IP based wireless network. Call connections from the mobile subscribers are monitored for various throughput and call quality based metrics. Call handoffs between the IP-based wireless communications network and the cellular telephony network are managed by the system based on the monitored call quality and throughput metrics on a per-access point basis using the registered identifiers.
INTEGRATED MONITORING CONTROL APPARATUS, INTEGRATED MONITORING CONTROL SYSTEM, AND MONITORING CONTROL APPARATUS
An integrated monitoring control apparatus includes a process to indicate a correspondence between a classification ID included in status information indicating status of the monitoring control device or status of an equipment subject to monitoring by the monitoring control device and a process performed on the status information, a receiver to receive the status information transmitted from the monitoring control device, and a process controller to cause performance, on the status information received by the receiver, of the process determined by the process definer based on the classification ID included in the status information.
WIRELESS TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR MESSAGING
A processor (103) in a wireless terminal (10) executes a communication service application to thereby perform an operation as a client for using a communication service. Further, in an abnormal situation where the wireless terminal (10) cannot access a server system (50) of an operator of the communication service, the processor (103) executes a predetermined activation procedure in the wireless terminal (10) without passing through the server system (50) to thereby activate a special account in the wireless terminal (10). This makes it possible, for example, to perform communication by the special account using an online service application installed in the wireless terminal during an abnormal situation where the wireless terminal cannot access the online service server.
SYSTEM, TARGET APPARATUS, TERMINAL, PROGRAM, AND METHOD
A system includes: a terminal that is capable of executing a plurality of programs; and a target apparatus that is capable of communicating with the terminal. The target apparatus includes: an acceptance unit that receives a specific operation; and a transmission unit that transmits trigger information to the terminal upon the acceptance unit receiving the specific operation. The terminal includes: a receiving unit that receives the trigger information from the transmission unit; a selection unit that selects a program corresponding to the target apparatus from the plurality of programs upon the receiving unit receiving the trigger information; and a processing unit that performs processing corresponding to the selected program.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Provided is a communication system that includes: a first imaging device; a communication unit configured to execute a first communication with a mobile communication terminal and a second communication with a communication device other than the mobile communication terminal to execute relay communication relaying the communication between the mobile communication terminal and the communication device; and a communication control unit configured to transmit, via the first communication, data of a first captured image that is captured by the first imaging device to the mobile communication terminal having the first communication established for the relay communication.
Charging filtering function
In one example, a charging filtering function may obtain a request for one or more rules that control whether or when one or more charging data records associated with a user equipment are to be provided to one or more billing systems. The request includes an identification of the user equipment. Based on the identification of the user equipment, the charging filtering function may identify the one or more rules. The charging filtering function may provide the one or more rules to control whether or when the one or more charging data records associated with the user equipment are to be provided to the one or more billing systems.
Facsimile apparatus, method of controlling facsimile apparatus, and storage medium
A facsimile apparatus includes a first detection unit, a second detection unit, a third detection unit, and a determination unit. The first detection unit detects a line voltage in an on-hook state. The second detection unit detects a line voltage in an off-hook state. The third detection unit detects a line current in an off-hook state. The determination unit determines a line impedance based on the line voltage detected by the first detection unit, the line voltage detected by the second detection unit, and the line current detected by the third detection unit.
Secured pre-payment for portable communication unit
In a method of payment for service of a portable communication unit, a customer prepays a dealer for said service, the dealer forwards transaction order information about the pre-payment to a prepaid management center (PMC); and the PMC provides a bank the transaction order information. The bank, upon receipt of the transaction order information from the PMC, determines whether there are sufficient funds in the dealer account to cover the transaction. If there is insufficient cash on hand, the dealer is notified and is provided an opportunity to replenish the account so that the transaction may proceed. If there are adequate funds in the dealer account, the bank automatically transfers the amount of the purchase transaction in the SPS account, less the dealer's fee for the purchase. After funds are transferred from the dealer account, the PMC is notified of the transfer, at which time the PMC generates codes and issues the codes to the dealer. The dealer transfers the codes to the user and the user enters the codes into the unit. On a regular basis the bank electronically transfers funds from the SPS account into accounts held by parties entitled to receive the funds.
Image-Capturing and Image-Distributing System for Automatically or Manually Capturing Image of User Carrying Mobile Communication Terminal
A system and a method in which image-capturing is effected automatically or manually. When a user-carried mobile terminal receives a near field wireless signal from a near field wireless signal transmitting station installed in an image-capturing field area, it is determined that a user is present within the image-capturing field of the externally installed image-capturing device and the user-carried communication terminal transmits automatically or manually an image-capturing request to the externally installed image-capturing device. In response, the externally installed image-capturing device effects image-capturing and then transmits the obtained image to an image server. After transmission of the image-capturing request, the user-carried mobile communication terminal makes a downloading request to the image server and effects downloading via a network and the downloaded data is automatically stored within the user-carried mobile communication terminal.
