According to a vehicle display system, a mobile terminal apparatus includes: a primary-screen-view display section that displays an output screen-view generated with execution of an application on the mobile terminal apparatus as a primary screen-view; a conversion section that converts the primary screen-view into a secondary screen-view complying with a vehicle apparatus; a manipulation layer generation section that generates a manipulation layer to manipulate the application; a state layer generation section that generates a state layer indicating a state of the mobile terminal apparatus; and a transmission section that transmits the secondary screen-view, the manipulation layer, and the state layer to the vehicle apparatus. The vehicle apparatus includes a secondary-screen-view display section that displays the manipulation layer and the state layer on the vehicle apparatus itself together with the secondary screen-view.

In one example, a mobile message device may create a message rule to establish a causal relationship between a messaging activity and a device activity or vice versa. A mobile message device may present a message rule user interface to the user to establish a message rule. The message rule user interface may receive from the user a message parameter describing at least one of a message format and a message content of a hypothetical mobile message received in a mobile messaging module. The message rule user interface may receive a response action directive describing a device action to be performed by the mobile message device in response to receiving an incoming mobile message matching the message parameter. The mobile message device may store a message target rule associating the message parameter with the response action directive. The mobile message device may receive the incoming mobile message matching the message parameter. The mobile message device may execute the device action in response to the incoming mobile message according to the response action directive.

An indication that a calling party is attempting to initiate an incoming call intended for a receiving party that utilizes a relay application that assists users having hearing, visual, or speech disabilities is received by an intermediate party. A chat session is established utilizing the relay application between the intermediate party and the calling party. Additionally, a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) session is established that does not include a voice session. Upon the chat session being terminated from within the relay application, the VoIP session is terminated.
