Analytics triggered subscriber policies
In general, techniques are described for providing a continuous feedback system that dynamically updates data collection criteria and subscriber policies based on aggregated subscriber-specific and network usage data. For example, a method includes applying one or more subscriber specific policy and charging control (PCC) rules to network traffic to collect network traffic data for a plurality of subscribers, aggregating the network traffic data, and determining, based on the aggregated traffic data, whether subscriber independent data collection criteria need to be updated. The method may also include, responsive to determining that the data collection criteria need to be updated: updating the data collection criteria, translating the updated data collection criteria from updated subscriber independent data collection criteria into updated subscriber specific PCC rules, and applying the updated subscriber specific policy and charging control rules to additional network traffic to collect additional network traffic data.
Wireless notification systems and methods for electronic rodent traps
A remote notification electronic rodent trapping system and method is provided having a plurality of rearming electronic rodent trapping devices configured to wirelessly communicate trap information to a base station that is in communication with a cloud server. When a trap is activated by a rodent trigger it changes from a set state to a kill alert state and initiates a killing cycle. The trap waits a first time period and then sends a notification signal to the base station of trap activation which the base station forwards to the cloud server. The cloud server waits a second predetermined time period before sending a pushed notification to a remote user of the trap's kill alert state. If the trap rearms prior to expiration of the second time period, it alerts the base station which notifies the cloud server. The cloud server updates trap status to the set state and does not send a notification to the user.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD
Aspects of the present application provide a communication system that includes a communication unit and a control unit. The communication unit is configured to receive, from a communication source, a scheduling request for scheduling transmission of a message to a specific communication destination. The control unit is configured to perform control such that the communication destination is notified of existence of the message at a predetermined timing in accordance with content of the message and a current or past psychological situation of a user corresponding to the specific communication destination received by the communication unit.
REPRODUCTION METHOD FOR REPRODUCING CONTENTS
In one embodiment, such a method may include receiving a visible light signal by a sensor of a terminal device from a transmitter which transmits the visible light signal by a light source changing in luminance. The terminal device may transmit a request signal for requesting content associated with the visible light signal, from the terminal device to a server, and receive a content from the server. The content may include time points and data to be reproduced at the time points. Thereafter the terminal device may reproduce data included in the content and corresponding to a time point of a clock included in the terminal device.
POSITION INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SERVER, POSITION INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION METHOD, POSITION INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM, AND POSITION INFORMATION TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
A position information distribution server includes: a communication unit that is provided outside a core network and receives identification information of a cellular phone and position information of the cellular phone from base transceiver stations, switching centers, VLRs, or an HLR; and a recording unit that records a first table including information to specify a server transmitting the position information among position information provision servers, for each identification information of the cellular phone. The position information provision servers are servers that provide position information services for transmitting the position information transmitted from the position information distribution server to information terminals. When the communication unit receives the identification information and the position information of the cellular phone, the communication unit transmits the identification information and the position information of the cellular phone to a server shown in the first table among the position information provision servers.
Information processing device and information processing method
To provide an information processing device that is capable of enhancing reliability of detection processing of detecting a terminal. An information processing device includes: a first communication unit that transmits, by using a short-distance wireless communication function, a request to a terminal corresponding to identification information obtained beforehand; a determination unit that determines, on the basis of presence/absence of a response from the terminal corresponding to the identification information to the request, whether or not the terminal has been detected; and a second communication unit that transmits, to other devices, a detection result based on the determination of the determination unit.
CONTROL SYSTEM
A control system includes a communication unit capable of communicating with a mobile terminal and a device disposed inside a predetermined area, a setting unit that sets, to an enabled state or a disabled state, a first notification function of notifying the mobile terminal of a state of the device using the communication unit, and a control unit that performs a predetermined control using the communication unit when the first notification function is set to the disabled state and the mobile terminal is determined to have moved from the inside of the predetermined area to the outside of the predetermined area.
COMMUNICATION DEVICE, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION METHOD, COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM, IN-VEHICLE DEVICE, AND CONTROL CIRCUIT
A communication device (201) receives internal electric waves (302) emitted toward inside a vehicle (100) by an internal communicator (102) mounted in the vehicle (100), and receives external electric waves (303) emitted toward outside the vehicle (100) by an external communicator (103) mounted in the vehicle (100). The communication device (201) determines whether the communication device (201) is inside the vehicle (100) or outside the vehicle (100), from a reception intensity of the received internal electric waves (302) and from a reception intensity of the received external electric waves (303).
ELECTRICAL DEVICE, SEARCH DEVICE, DEVICE SEARCH SYSTEM, ELECTRICAL DEVICE RESPONSE METHOD, ELECTRICAL DEVICE SEARCH METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A first electrical device includes: a second radio signal receiver that receives target device information; a second processor that determines whether or not the first electrical device is included in the target device information and the first electrical device is connected to a network or whether or not a second electrical device capable of communicating with the first electrical device is included in the target device information and the second electrical device capable of communicating with the first electrical device is connected to the network; and a transmitter that, when a result of the determination by the second processor indicates that the first electrical device or the second electrical device is included in the target device information, transmits information indicating that the first electrical device or the second electrical device is the search-target device, as a response using a communication method based on the result of the determination.
