A transaction processing platform capable of facilitating the distribution to consumers of various types of prepaid products is disclosed. The transaction processing platform is configured to interface with one or more providers of such prepaid products in order to facilitate the procurement or activation of the products. The platform includes a conduit interface through which service request messages are received and respectively utilized to generate transaction requests for corresponding types of prepaid services. A supply interface arrangement, operatively coupled to the conduit interface, is configured to route a first of the transaction requests through a first supply interface associated with a first type of prepaid service. The supply interface arrangement also routes a second transaction request through a second supply interface associated with a second type of prepaid service. The platform is also configured to provide supplier response information received through the supply interfaces to the conduit interface.

The disclosed technology teaches alerting a network operator to deteriorated wireless network conditions with granularity and reduced false alerts, including receiving tracked performance indicators (KPIs) for multiple components of voice, data and messaging and accessing a mapping for combining the performance indicators into quality sub-indicators for individual users and into key quality indicators (KQI) for the individual users. This includes smoothing the current KQI measures of performance over time to reduce the impact of brief transitory events, accessing a weekly profile of KQIs, and comparing KQIs for a current time window to past KQIs for a corresponding time window for the individual users operating mobile devices in part of the cellular network that is a focus of interest. Based on the comparing, the disclosed technology includes generating alerts that report out-of-range current KQIs within the focus of interest that are persistently out-of-range for longer than a configurable time.

Secured pre-payment for portable communication unit

In a method of payment for service of a portable communication unit, a customer prepays a dealer for said service, the dealer forwards transaction order information about the pre-payment to a prepaid management center (PMC); and the PMC provides a bank the transaction order information. The bank, upon receipt of the transaction order information from the PMC, determines whether there are sufficient funds in the dealer account to cover the transaction. If there is insufficient cash on hand, the dealer is notified and is provided an opportunity to replenish the account so that the transaction may proceed. If there are adequate funds in the dealer account, the bank automatically transfers the amount of the purchase transaction in the SPS account, less the dealer's fee for the purchase. After funds are transferred from the dealer account, the PMC is notified of the transfer, at which time the PMC generates codes and issues the codes to the dealer. The dealer transfers the codes to the user and the user enters the codes into the unit. On a regular basis the bank electronically transfers funds from the SPS account into accounts held by parties entitled to receive the funds.

A first device call request is received with a second device mobile address. The asynchronous systems include instructions to automatically modify the mobile address with a routing prefix when the first device has insufficient balance or independent of balance, route to the asynchronous signaling switch based on an associated modified address trunk path, revert the modified call signal at the asynchronous signaling switch to the call signal, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call immediately when the call is completed. The synchronous systems include instructions to automatically set the call duration time quota upon insufficient balance, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call from the second user mobile device when the call is completed and the call duration time quota is exceeded.

Arrangements are provided for identifying a second fraudulent subscription replacing a first fraudulent subscription. A method is performed by a fraudulent subscription detection system. The method includes obtaining notification of the first fraudulent subscription having been identified in a SIM box. The method comprises obtaining historical network data of the first fraudulent subscription. The method com includes prises generating a model based on the historical network data. The method includes identifying the second fraudulent subscription replacing the first fraudulent subscription in the SIM box upon providing live network data as input to the model. The method includes providing an identification of the second fraudulent subscription to at least one of a subscription manager entity and a user interface of a Manual Analysis component.

Real-time co-ordinated fulfillment of refill transactions of a user account in a communication system

The present disclosure relates to a method related to an online charging system for a cellular radio communication system. The method includes obtaining a notification that a refill action of a user account for the communication system is pending. The notification includes an identifier (vid) of a refill resource for the refill action. The method also includes inspecting a refill database updated by an account management function of the online charging system to determine whether the refill resource identifier is included therein, indicating whether or not the user account has been refilled based on the refill resource.

A method of interpreting an authorization token is described herein. The service can receive an authorization token from a client device, and validate a signature of the authorization token. The service can identify an allowed function value associated at least part of an entitlement representation contained in a body of the authorization token. The service can convert the allowed function value to an allowed function bitmask that includes bits at a plurality of bit positions that are set to values indicating whether the subscriber element has attributes associated with each of the plurality of bit positions on a predefined attribute list. The service can determine whether the allowed function bitmask indicates that the subscriber element has one or more qualifying attributes that entitle a user of the client device to access the service.

The administrator computer device is configured, via an administrator interface displayed on the administrative computer device, to enable or disable privileges for selected inmates in the inmate population allowing inmates access to the visitation services computer system, and set visitation session preferences including maximum visitation session length and visitation session cost that applies to the visitation services. The visitation services computer system is configured to receive requests for electronic visitation sessions initiated by incarcerated inmates, confirm that each request involves an authorized registered incarcerated inmate or an authorized registered remote non-incarcerated visitor, transmit invitations to the respective recipients in response to each received request for an electronic visitation session, and automatically establish interconnections between visitor computer devices at the remote locations and inmate computer devices in the correctional facility without requiring endpoint control to schedule or initiate a visitation session by administrative personnel of the correctional facility.
