FUNERARY CAPSULE FOR VIEWING AND TRANSPORTING DEAD BODIES
Disclosed is a funerary capsule for viewing and transporting dead bodies, including: a casket for containing the body, provided with a side wall and with a closing lid; a bag for containing the body, which can be placed in the casket. The casket includes a hinge for the side wall and the lid, adapted to allow the movement thereof by rotation, and where the bag includes handles and closing ties to facilitate insertion of the body into the casket, extraction therefrom and loading thereof into the crematory, wherein the casket includes rotation hinges of pivot type, adapted to allow reversible lifting of the related side wall.
Funerary display arrangement with removable cloth assembly
A cloth assembly for a casket includes a first fabric segment, a second fabric segment, and a substrate. The first fabric segment has a first length and a first width, and the second fabric segment having a second length and a second width. The substrate has a third length and a third width. The first lengthwise edge of the first fabric segment is secured to the substrate along the third length of the substrate, such that the second lengthwise edge of the first fabric segment can be disposed beyond at least one lengthwise edge of the substrate. The first lengthwise edge of the second fabric segment is secured to the substrate along the third length of the substrate, such that the second lengthwise edge of the second fabric segment can be disposed beyond the at least one lengthwise edge of the substrate.
Collapsible Casket Viewing Barrier
A collapsible casket viewing barrier includes a first transparent shield pivotally connected to a second transparent shield. The transparent shields are disposed within supporting frames that are connected via one or more hinges. Each supporting frame includes attached support legs, which may be telescopically adjustable and include wheels for easy transport. The first supporting frame and the second supporting frame are configured to move between a deployed configuration for use and a collapsed configuration for storage. When deployed during a funeral service, the collapsible casket viewing barrier can be positioned adjacent a casket such that the longer first transparent shield extends lengthwise along the casket while the shorter second transparent shield extends perpendicularly along the upper end of the casket. The casket is shielded in a way that allows individuals to view the deceased while reducing the transmission of germs.
Funeral tray
The funeral tray can have an elongated bottom and an upwardly projecting wall peripheral to the bottom and leading to a raised rim, defining a concave shape sized and configured to receive the body of a deceased person, the upwardly projecting wall and the bottom being integral to one another and made of bio-based material.
Casket assembly method
A method of assembling a casket assembly includes folding a left end of one side panel toward a main body portion to form part of a head end of the casket assembly. The method also includes folding a right end of the side panel toward the main body portion to form part of a foot end of the casket assembly. Another side panel is folded the same way, and also forms part of both the head end and the foot end. The method includes arranging the first side panel and the second side panel within a base of the casket assembly, and removably coupling a lid of the casket assembly to the side panels.
Funerary viewing system and method
A funerary method includes disposing a deceased adult human body in supine position on an insert constructed of paper material having side walls and end walls. The first fabric segment is used to cover at least a portion of a top edge of at least the first side wall of the insert and at least a portion of the deceased human body, such that the deceased human body is sufficiently visible for identification. Thereafter, the insert and the deceased human body are removed from the tray.
Closure apparatus
An apparatus for keeping a deceased person's mouth closed is disclosed herein. The apparatus ensures that the deceased person's mouth does not open during a period of muscle relaxation that immediately follow death, and ensures that the deceased mouth is not open during rigor mortis, which makes it more difficult to close the deceased open mouth later. The apparatus is comprised of various modular and swappable elements to ensure universal fit, as well as anti-slippage elements that ensure that the apparatus does not slip off a person's body when in use.
