Storage facility for object of paying of respects
A support portion on which an object of paying of respects transported by the transport device is placed is provided at the support position. The support portion includes one or more restriction members configured to restrict movement of an object of paying of respects toward the first side by contacting the object of paying of respects from the first side, and one or more guide portions configured to move an object of paying of respects toward the first side to a contact position at which the object of paying of respects contacts the one or more restriction members or to a position located more toward the second side relative to the contact position. With one or more end portions, on the second side, of the bottom portion of the object of paying of respects being one or more end portions to be contacted, each of the one or more guide portions has a tilted guide surface that is tilted downward toward a first side end thereof with the tilted guide surface located in a position in which the one or more end portions, to be contacted, of the object of paying of respects that is being transferred from the transport device to be placed on the support portion, come into contact with the guide surface.

VACUUM LIFTER FOR LIFTING OBJECTS LOCATED IN CONFINED SPACES BELOW GRADE
A vacuum lifter of this disclosure includes a spreader bar having a lifting lug at a top end and pad hanger locations at a bottom end; a pair of legs rotatably connected at a corresponding end of the spreader bar, each leg including a foot at a lower end of the leg; each leg having a first locking position in which the foot is below the spreader bar and a second locking position in which the foot is above the spreader bar; and a pair of vacuum pads adapted for connection to a vacuum source and to the pad hanger locations of the spreader bar. The spreader bar may be extendable. The vacuum source may be mounted on the spreader bar. The vacuum lifter is useful for lifting objects out of confined spaces below grade.
BIODEGRADABLE COFFIN ASSEMBLY
A coffin for use in the containment and storage of a human or animal corpse. The coffin comprises; a tubular housing comprising a wall defining an internal space; the wall formed from a cellulose fibre material and capable of retaining the corpse in the internal space. The coffin further comprises a part which receives and retains a body when in use. The invention is essentially a cylindrical, tubular form, to form a receptacle to serve as a cremation/burial vessel, free of corners, angles and sharp edges and manufactured from a biodegradable material. The invention contemplates use of screwspreferably stainless steel to secure those elements such as the end walls which require releasable fixation. One suitable non-toxic biodegradable material is recycled cellulose fibre such as cardboard or used paper products. Other materials used in construction of the invention include, plantation timber framing, plywood end closures, screw fixation, water based adhesive as required, nontoxic water based paint, and quantities of water based craft adhesive.
Method and apparatus for loading and/or unloading caskets
A casket loading and/or unloading apparatus comprises a frame having an end adapted to be pivoted adjacent a rear edge of a bed of a transport vehicle for pivoting about a pivot axis generally transverse to a longitudinal axis of the transport vehicle, and a motion generating device operable between the frame and the transport vehicle for pivoting the frame from a first generally vertical position to a second at least generally horizontal position. A vertically oriented casket in the transport vehicle can be secured to the frame, and the frame with the casket secured thereto can be pivoted from the first generally vertical position to the second at least generally horizontal position to facilitate unloading the casket from the transport vehicle.
