DIGITAL CAMERA WITH PRINTER
A digital camera with a printer is a digital camera with a printer and includes a communication unit that communicates with a digital camera with a printer that is another apparatus, and an image composition unit that generates a composite image in which a first image captured by the digital camera with a printer that is an owned apparatus and a second image captured by the other apparatus are composited, in which the communication unit transmits the composite image to the other apparatus. A user of the other apparatus can also obtain the composite image. Accordingly, the composite image can be enjoyed by capturing images using a plurality of cameras.
DIGITAL ZOOM BASED ON REMOTE USER INSTRUCTIONS OF LIVE VIDEO
Systems and methods facilitate digital zoom of live video based on remote user instructions. A user of a remote device may desire to zoom in on a particular aspect of a copy of a full image captured by a sensor at a first resolution and communicated to the remote device at a second resolution less than the first resolution. A selection that corresponds to a user-selected area of the copy and corresponding to a portion of the sensor is received by the sensor. Based on the selection, an instruction is generated to capture a second electronic image utilizing the portion of the sensor with the first resolution. Thus, rather than zooming into the first electronic image at the second resolution, the second electronic image corresponding to the portion of the sensor is captured at the first resolution and then converted to the second resolution, resulting in a higher resolution zoom.
Omnidirectional camera system with improved point of interest selection
An image capturing device includes an imaging device and circuitry. The imaging device captures an image. The circuitry defines a point of interest in the image, converts the defined point of interest in accordance with attitude information of the image capturing device, and cuts out a viewable area from the image. The viewable area includes the converted point of interest.
Control device and observation system
A control device includes a processor configured to: perform movie display control of causing a display to sequentially display images acquired in time series, and still image display control of causing the display to display any of the images as a still image; detect a first operation on a switch; determine whether a predetermined operation condition for the switch is satisfied, after the first operation has been detected; switch, when the first operation is detected while the movie display control is being executed, from the movie display control to the still image display control and causing the display to display, as a still image, an image displayed at a timing at which the first operation is detected; and cause, when the processor determines that the predetermined operation condition is satisfied, a memory to store the image displayed as a still image under the still image display control.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH CAMERA AND METHOD THEREOF
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a camera module, a sensor module, at least one processor configured to be operatively connected to the camera module and the sensor module, and a memory configured to be operatively connected to the at least one processor. The memory may be configured, when executed, to cause the at least one processor to acquire a plurality of first images having a first attribute and at least one second image having a second attribute for a designated time by controlling the camera module according to a photographing mode of the camera module determined based on at least one of illuminance detected through the sensor module and scene information detected through the camera module, extract information on an event section when the event is detected from the plurality of first images, and select and buffer at least one third image from the at least one second image according to the photographing mode, generate at least one piece of first content based on the information on the event section of the plurality of first images, and select at least one fourth image by evaluating at least some of the at least one third image, and generate at least one piece of second content based on the selected at least one fourth image.
System and method for frame capturing and processing
Systems and methods are provided that capture and process frames of frame data. An image sensor captures frames of frame data representative of light incident upon the image sensor using a rolling shutter and outputs the frames of frame data. The image sensor captures at least one of the frames over a frame capture interval and then waits over a blanking interval before capturing another frame. A buffer receives and stores the frames output by the image sensor. An image signal processor retrieves the frames from the buffer and processes the frames over successive frame processing intervals to generate a video having a time interval per frame greater than the frame capture interval. At least one of the successive frame processing intervals is greater than the frame capture interval and is less than or equal to a sum of the frame capture interval and the blanking interval.
THIN DUAL-APERTURE ZOOM DIGITAL CAMERA
A dual-aperture zoom camera comprising a Wide camera with a respective Wide lens and a Tele camera with a respective Tele lens, the Wide and Tele cameras mounted directly on a single printed circuit board, wherein the Wide and Tele lenses have respective effective focal lengths EFL.sub.W and EFL.sub.T and respective total track lengths TTL.sub.W and TTL.sub.T and wherein TTL.sub.W/EFL.sub.W>1.1 and TTL.sub.T/EFL.sub.T<1.0. Optionally, the dual-aperture zoom camera may further comprise an optical OIS controller configured to provide a compensation lens movement according to a user-defined zoom factor (ZF) and a camera tilt (CT) through LMV=CT*EFL.sub.ZF, where EFL.sub.ZF is a zoom-factor dependent effective focal length.
VIDEO SIGNAL PROCESSING APPARATUS, VIDEO SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD, AND IMAGE PICKUP APPARATUS
This video signal processing apparatus includes a signal processing unit that performs tone control on an input video signal having a linear characteristic and a control unit that blends two tone curve characteristics arbitrarily selected from among a plurality of tone curve characteristics prepared in advance and sets the blended tone curve characteristics for the tone control of the signal processing unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO MANAGE MULTI-MODE CAMERA PREVIEWS ON AN IMAGE-RECEIVING DEVICE
A communication device, method and computer program product provide multiple simultaneous camera previews of different imaging modes of the same image. The communication device includes a communication subsystem that receives a photographic image stream from a second communication device. The communication device includes a display driver that presents content on a display device. A controller of the communication device is communicatively coupled to the display driver. The controller simultaneously presents the more than one camera previews on the display device. The communication device presents a particular imaging mode of the photographic image stream corresponding to the particular camera preview that is user selected. The communication device transmits, via the communication subsystem to the second communication device, a report of a user selection by the at least one user input device, of the particular imaging mode of the photographic visual stream that is being presented on the display device.
Systems and methods for mobile automated clearing house enrollment
Systems and methods for mobile enrollment in automated clearing house (ACH) transactions using mobile-captured images of financial documents are provided. Applications running on a mobile device provide for the capture and processing of images of documents needed for enrollment in an ACH transaction, such as a blank check, remittance statement and driver's license. Data from the mobile-captured images that is needed for enrolling in ACH transactions is extracted from the processed images, such as a user's name, address, bank account number and bank routing number. The user can edit the extracted data, select the type of document that is being captured, authorize the creation of an ACH transaction and select an originator of the ACH transaction. The extracted data and originator information is transmitted to a remote server along with the user's authorization so the ACH transaction can be setup between the originator's and receiver's bank accounts.
