Mobile terminal and method of controlling the same
A mobile terminal including a wireless communication unit configured to perform wireless communication; a camera configured to obtain an image; a display unit configured to display a preview image obtained through the camera; and a controller configured to control the display unit to operate in any one of a first state in which a graphic object relating to an image capturing function is displayed overlapping the preview image and a second state in which the graphic object is not displayed while the preview image is displayed, based on a user request, and when a first pre-set type of touch is sensed in a region on which the preview image is displayed in the second state, control the camera to capture the preview image based on the pre-set type of touch.
ACCESSORY APPARATUS, IMAGE-CAPTURING APPARATUS, CONTROL APPARATUS, LENS APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER PROGRAM
The accessory apparatus provides, with an image-capturing apparatus, a notification channel used for providing a notice from the image-capturing apparatus to the accessory apparatus, a first data communication channel used for data transmission from the accessory apparatus to the image-capturing apparatus, and a second data communication channel used for data transmission from the image-capturing apparatus to the accessory apparatus. An accessory controller acquires from a timer, in response to receiving a transmission request as the notice, a first time of receiving the transmission request and acquires, in response to receiving a specific command through the second data communication channel from the image-capturing apparatus, accessory information corresponding to the first time or a second time acquired based on the first time. The accessory controller transmits the accessory information to the image-capturing apparatus through the first data communication channel.
WEARABLE CAMERA AND A METHOD FOR ENCODING VIDEO CAPTURED BY THE WEARABLE CAMERA
A method and wearable camera for encoding video captured by a wearable camera determines a centre of rotation for an image frame to be encoded. The centre of rotation relates to a rotation of the wearable camera at the time of capturing the video and the image frame comprises multiple groups of pixels. Furthermore, compression levels are set for the multiple groups of pixels of the image frame. The compression levels for the multiple groups of pixels of the image frame are set such that a level of compression increases with a radial distance from the centre of rotation. The image frame is encoded using the compression levels.
Paper sheet or presentation board such as white board with markers for assisting processing by digital cameras
A surface object comprises a surface with a boundary, the surface having a background color. At least one optical marker is provided on the surface for assisting of image processing for improving appearance of an image of the surface with the boundary. At least one optical marker includes at least one color which is lighter or darker than the background color and the color different ΔE between the background color and the at least one color of the optical marker being between ΔE=2 and ΔE=18.
Apparatus and method for managing image files by displaying backup information
A method and an apparatus for managing image files by displaying backup information are provided. The method includes: displaying at least one image file; reading a file tag of the at least one image file to determine whether there is backup information; and when there is the backup information as a result of the determination, displaying a predetermined object associated with the backup information.
Proactive creation of photo products
A method for proactively creating a photo product includes storing a library of points of interest in a computer storage, detecting one or more images from a user, automatically extracting image capture locations from the images, automatically comparing the image capture locations with the points of interest in the library to obtain one or more identified points of interest, automatically identifying an occasion based on the identified points of interest in the library, automatically selecting, by the computer processor, a photo product type in part based on the occasion, automatically creating a design of a photo product of the photo product type using one or more images from the user, and manufacturing a physical photo product based on the photo product design.
Electronic device
An electronic device may include a position detecting unit that detects a position; a time detecting unit that detects a time; a communicating unit that communicates with a first device provided separately from the position detecting unit and the time detecting unit; and an instructing unit that instructs, via the communicating unit, a first detecting unit provided to the first device to perform detection according to a detection result of the position detecting unit and the time detecting unit. An electronic device may include a position detecting unit that detects a position; a time detecting that detects a time; a physical amount detecting unit that detects a physical amount of an ambient environment according to a detection result position detecting unit and the time detecting unit; and a human detecting that performs detection about human according to a detection result of the physical amount detecting unit.
Peer to peer camera communication
A camera, method and computer program for communicating between a primary camera device and other camera devices comprising: detecting orientation and position of the primary camera device and range of a primary subject in focus on the primary camera device; locating other networkable camera devices for communication; receiving subject data for a real time image of a subject from one or more of the located networkable camera devices; and determining from subject data which networkable camera devices are shooting the primary subject whereby the primary camera can utilize the subject data and image data from both its own detectors and determined network cameras to take a picture of the subject.
IMAGING APPARATUS WITH DISPLAY AND IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS
A digital camera is provided with a vertically long camera body having an approximately rectangular solid shape. An LCD panel provided in a rear surface of the camera body is arranged such that longitudinal directions of the display screen and the camera body correspond to each other. The digital camera is operated through a touch panel provided in a lower portion of the display screen. In a taking mode, an image is displayed in a small size on an upper portion of the display screen. In reproducing, the camera body is rotated sideways by 90 degree. In a reproducing mode, display posture of the image is also rotated by 90 degree, and the image is displayed in a large size on the entire display screen.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FRAME CAPTURING AND PROCESSING
Systems and methods are provided that capture and process frames of frame data. An image sensor captures frames of frame data representative of light incident upon the image sensor using a rolling shutter and outputs the frames of frame data. The image sensor captures at least one of the frames over a frame capture interval and then waits over a blanking interval before capturing another frame. A buffer receives and stores the frames output by the image sensor. An image signal processor retrieves the frames from the buffer and processes the frames over successive frame processing intervals to generate a video having a time interval per frame greater than the frame capture interval. At least one of the successive frame processing intervals is greater than the frame capture interval and is less than or equal to a sum of the frame capture interval and the blanking interval.
