A charging system for a medical facility includes a patient support apparatus that has a base frame, an upper frame, a wheel to engage a floor surface, and a controller. A rechargeable battery is operably coupled to the base frame. The controller is configured to communicate with the rechargeable battery. A transmitting assembly is coupled to at least one of a wall surface and the floor surface of said medical facility. A receiving assembly is operably coupled to the base frame adjacent to the wheel. The receiving assembly is in communication with the rechargeable battery. The receiving assembly and the transmitting assembly selectively communicate to charge the rechargeable battery. An alert feature is in communication with the controller of the patient support apparatus. The alert feature is configured to emit an alarm when the controller indicates the rechargeable battery is at or below a predetermined charge level.

A charging system for a medical facility includes a patient support apparatus that has a base frame, an upper frame, a wheel to engage a floor surface, and a controller. A rechargeable battery is operably coupled to the base frame. The controller is configured to communicate with the rechargeable battery. A transmitting assembly is coupled to at least one of a wall surface and the floor surface of said medical facility. A receiving assembly is operably coupled to the base frame adjacent to the wheel. The receiving assembly is in communication with the rechargeable battery. The receiving assembly and the transmitting assembly selectively communicate to charge the rechargeable battery. An alert feature is in communication with the controller of the patient support apparatus. The alert feature is configured to emit an alarm when the controller indicates the rechargeable battery is at or below a predetermined charge level.

Caskets, cap panel assemblies for a casket, and methods for manufacturing cap panel assemblies are described. A casket may include a casket shell, at least one casket cap pivotally mounted on the casket shell, and a cap panel assembly mounted in the at least one casket cap. The cap panel assembly may include a cap panel, a puffing member attached to each edge of the cap panel, a cap panel insert positioned in-line with the cap panel, and a plurality of resilient members positioned on a front face of the cap panel insert. The plurality of resilient members may be tensioned, for example, to hold keepsakes, memorabilia, or other types of objects on or in the cap panel insert. The cap panel insert can include a mounting bracket or a screw and wire assembly for mounting the cap panel insert on a wall.

Systems and Methods for Body-Proximate Recoverable Capture of Mercury Vapor During Cremation
Systems and methods for body-proximate recoverable capture of mercury vapor emitted during cremation of human remains having dental amalgam fillings containing mercury. In various embodiments, one or more recoverable mercury sorbent packets comprise a combination of nanoparticles of one or more chalcogens and a particulate refractory material contained in a refractory material packaging. The recoverable packets capture and contain elemental mercury vapor emitted during cremation from dental amalgam fillings containing mercury. The recoverable packets are placed external to the body and within the combustion chamber during cremation, and not within the flue or exhausts exiting the combustion chambers. In various embodiments, the recoverable packets are positioned within the casket or primary combustion chamber, and may be preferably positioned proximate the head and neck of the body with the aid of selectively-refractory containment structures. After cremation, the mercury laden recoverable sorbent packets may be removed from the ashen remains of the body, and optionally the mercury may be recovered and the sorbent packet reprocessed for reuse.

GRAVESTONE MARKER WITH PROTECTED VIEWING CHAMBER
A gravestone marker made from a single slab of granite that is carved and cut. A bulletproof, transparent covering for a viewing chamber allows for placement of photographs and other small objects within the chamber. The chamber is carved out of the granite slab, and a back wall is cut from the slab and reattached to enclose the chamber. This allows for smoothing and polishing of the chamber prior to reattachment of the back wall. Luminescent sand can be placed within the chamber to provide illumination to the objects stored within.
