A device (1) for airborne sound acoustic sensing of the surroundings of a vehicle, the device (1), comprising at least one microphone (2), which is integrated in a housing (3) which, in the region of the microphone (2), has at least one opening (4) for the entry of sound waves. According to the invention, in the region of the opening (4) and at a distance from the microphone (2) there is arranged at least one film or membrane (5) which, together with the microphone (2) and the housing (3), delimits an ante-volume (6), the cross-sectional area of which increases from inside to outside in relation to the housing (3), so that a cross sectional area (A) of the ante-volume (6) adjacent to the film or membrane (5) is greater than a cross sectional area (B) of the ante-volume (6) adjacent to the microphone (2).
Systems and methods for audio scene generation by effecting spatial and temporal control of the vibrations of a panel
A loudspeaker system composed of a flexible panel with an affixed array of force actuators, a signal processing system, and interface electronic circuits is described. The system described is capable of creating a pattern of standing bending waves at any location on the panel and the instantaneous amplitude, velocity, or acceleration of the standing waves can be controlled by an audio signal to create localized acoustic sources at the selected locations in the plane of the panel.

An electronic component includes an insulating base material including insulating base material layers, a first main surface that is a mounting surface, a coil, mounting electrodes provided on the first main surface, and a projection. The projection is provided in an electrode non-forming portion of the first main surface, the electrode non-forming portion including no mounting electrodes therein, and provided along the coil conductors in planar view of the first main surface.

According to one embodiment, a pressure sensor includes a film part, and a sensing unit. A circumscribing rectangle circumscribing a configuration of a film surface of the film part has a first side, a second side, a third side connected to one end of the first side and one end of the second side, a fourth side connected to one other end of the first side and one other end of the second side, and a centroid of the circumscribing rectangle. The circumscribing rectangle includes a first region enclosed by the first side, line segments connecting the centroid to the one end of the first side, and to the one other end of the first side. The sensing unit includes sensing elements provided on a portion of the film surface overlapping the first region. Each sensing element includes a first, second magnetic layers, and a spacer layer.

According to one embodiment, a pressure sensor includes a film part, and a sensing unit. A circumscribing rectangle circumscribing a configuration of a film surface of the film part has a first side, a second side, a third side connected to one end of the first side and one end of the second side, a fourth side connected to one other end of the first side and one other end of the second side, and a centroid of the circumscribing rectangle. The circumscribing rectangle includes a first region enclosed by the first side, line segments connecting the centroid to the one end of the first side, and to the one other end of the first side. The sensing unit includes sensing elements provided on a portion of the film surface overlapping the first region. Each sensing element includes a first, second magnetic layers, and a spacer layer.
Ultrasonic transducer unit and manufacturing method thereof
The present disclosure provides an ultrasonic transducer unit and a manufacturing method thereof. The ultrasonic transducer unit includes a substrate, a first electrode arranged on the substrate, an insulating layer arranged on the first electrode, a vibrating film arranged on the insulating layer, a closed cavity being between the vibrating film and the insulating layer, and a second electrode arranged on the vibrating film. The vibrating film is made of a photoresist. The ultrasonic transducer unit disclosed by the present disclosure adopts the photoresist as a material of the insulating layer and/or the vibrating film, so that the ultrasonic transducer unit with better performance can be obtained.

A speaker unit incorporated in a housing of an earphone includes: a frame having a cylindrical shape; a diaphragm emitting sound; and a board to which a wiring line of a coil provided to the diaphragm is connected. The frame has a space inside, and the diaphragm and the board are placed inside the frame with the space interposed between the diaphragm and the board.

An automated process for equalizing an audio system and an apparatus for implementing the process. An audio system includes a microphone unit, for receiving the sound waves radiated from a plurality of speakers, acoustic measuring circuitry, for calculating frequency response measurements; a memory, for storing characteristic data of the loudspeaker units and further for storing the frequency response measurements; and equalization calculation circuitry, for calculating an equalization pattern responsive to the digital data and responsive to the characteristic data of the plurality of loudspeaker units. Also described is an automated equalizing system including a acoustic measuring circuitry including a microphone for measuring frequency response at a plurality of locations; a memory, for storing the frequency responses at the plurality of locations; and equalization calculation circuitry, for calculating, from the frequency responses, an optimized equalization pattern.
