Backplate for recording microphone, and recording microphone
The present application relates to a backplate for a recording microphone, and the recording microphone, belonging to the technical field of acoustoelectric conversion. A surface, facing a diaphragm, of the backplate is a spherical surface recessed away from the diaphragm. According to the backplate for the recording microphone and the recording microphone provided by the present application, the maximum sound pressure level that the recording microphone can withstand is effectively increased, and the occurrence of attachment between the diaphragm and the backplate under the action of high-sound-pressure-level signals is reduced.
Diaphragm structure for loudspeaker
This disclosure provides a diaphragm structure of a loudspeaker, including a surround and an annular body. The surround is annular and has an inner rim and an outer rim relative to the inner rim. The annular body disposed on the inner rim of the surround is integrally formed by a plurality of rigid reinforcing units arranged in a circle. Each rigid reinforcing unit includes a first side edge, a second side edge, and two third side edges connected to the first side edge and the second side edge. The two third side edges are formed by a plurality of first reference points at different height positions, and heights of the first reference points asymmetrically and gradually decrease from the middle towards the first side edge and the second side edge to form a substantially upward curve. A peak ridge line is defined between first reference points at the highest position of the two third side edges located on the opposite sides, and the peak ridge line is formed by a plurality of second reference points at different height positions, and heights of the second reference points symmetrically and gradually increase from the middle towards the two third side edges to form a substantially downward curve.
Water-resistant composition
An example composition includes a cloth, which has on each side thereof, a first waterproofing agent, a barrier which inhibits or prevents environmental degradation, and an elastomeric barrier including a second waterproofing agent. Another example composition includes a cloth with a phenolic resin coating having, on each side thereof, a first waterproofing agent, a barrier which inhibits or prevents environmental degradation, and an elastomeric barrier including a second waterproofing agent.
Sound transducer structure and method for manufacturing a sound transducer structure
For manufacturing a sound transducer structure, membrane support material is applied on a first main surface of a membrane carrier material and membrane material is applied in a sound transducing region and an edge region on a surface of the membrane support material. In addition, counter electrode support material is applied on a surface of the membrane material and recesses are formed in the sound transducing region of the membrane material. Counter electrode material is applied to the counter electrode support material and membrane carrier material and membrane support material are removed in the sound transducing region to the membrane material.

System and method for a loudspeaker with a diaphragm
A loudspeaker is disclosed. The loudspeaker includes a diaphragm with a fixed portion and a movable portion. The fixed portion is attached to the movable portion by a plurality of leaf springs disposed between the fixed portion and the movable portion of the diaphragm. A coil is disposed over the diaphragm in the movable portion of the diaphragm. A magnet assembly is operatively disposed relative to the coil, wherein upon flow of current through the coil, the movable portion of the diaphragm moves relative to the fixed portion.
Loudspeaker diaphragm
A loudspeaker diaphragm (12) comprising a woven fibre body supports damping material (25), for example PVA polymer, on a rearward-facing surface (24). The woven fibre body may be formed of lengths (14) non-metallic fibre material (for example glass fibre) coating with a thin metal coating (32). The mass of the layer of damping material (25) may be less than the mass of the woven fibre body. An attractive sparkly looking loudspeaker diaphragm (12) may thus be provided which damps undesirable vibration whilst providing a flatter frequency-response curve (50).
Method and apparatus for audio processing
An apparatus and method of loudspeaker equalization. The method combines default tunings (generated based on a default listening environment) and room tunings (generated based on an end user listening environment) to result in combined tunings that account for differences between the end user listening environment and the default listening environment.
Waterproof sound-transmitting membrane, waterproof sound-transmitting member including same, electronic device, electronic device case, and waterproof sound-transmitting structure
A waterproof sound-transmitting membrane of the present disclosure includes: a non-porous resin film having formed therein a plurality of through holes extending through a thickness of the non-porous resin film; and a liquid-repellent layer formed on a principal surface of the resin film and having openings at positions corresponding to positions of the plurality of through holes. The through holes have a diameter of 4.0 m or more and 12.0 m or less, and the waterproof sound-transmitting membrane has a through-thickness air permeability of 2.0 cm.sup.3/(cm.sup.2.Math.second) or more and 50 cm.sup.3/(cm.sup.2.Math.second) or less in terms of Frazier number as measured according to JIS L 1096. With this waterproof sound-transmitting membrane placed over an opening of a housing of an electronic device or the like, entry of water into the housing from outside can be prevented, in addition to which the characteristics of sound transmitted through the membrane can be kept even when the membrane has a reduced effective area.
Audio transducer with electrostatic discharge protection
An apparatus including a transducer configured to generate sound, where the transducer comprises a diaphragm. At least one portion of the transducer is electrically conductive and is configured to provide an electrical connectivity to a ground. The at least one portion, at least in part, circumferences the diaphragm.
