Evacuation of liquid from acoustic space
An acoustic module, such as a microphone or speaker module, includes an acoustic membrane that vibrates to produce acoustic waves and an acoustic cavity through which acoustic waves produced by the membrane travel. A liquid removal mechanism removes liquid from the acoustic cavity. Such a liquid removal mechanism may include the acoustic membrane, heating elements, hydrophobic and/or hydrophilic surfaces, and so on. In some cases, the liquid removal mechanism may remove liquid from the acoustic cavity upon connection of the acoustic module and/or an associated electronic device to an external power source.

SOUND TRANSDUCER UNIT
In one aspect, a sound transducer unit includes at least two magnet units having a permanent magnetic field and further includes at least two acoustic units. Each acoustic unit has a diaphragm that is deflectable along a stroke axis for generating sound waves. The sound transducer unit also includes a coil arrangement provided in association with each acoustic unit, wherein the coil arrangement is configured to be supplied electric current such that the diaphragm is deflectable along the stroke axis. The at least two magnet units and the at least two acoustic units are arranged alternatively one above the other.

SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH MECHANICALLY-COUPLED MAGNET
A speaker assembly includes a basket including an opening having a rim and a flange extending downwardly from the rim, the flange including at least one rib extending circumferentially around an inner surface of the flange. A magnet includes at least one groove extending circumferentially around the magnet. The magnet is insert molded with the basket below the rim such that the at least one groove receives the at least one rib to mechanically couple the magnet to the basket.
