MEMS loudspeaker having an actuator structure and a diaphragm spaced apart therefrom
A MEMS loudspeaker for generating sound waves in the audible wavelength spectrum includes a carrier substrate with a substrate cavity with two substrate openings formed on two opposite sides of the carrier substrate, and a diaphragm anchored in the substrate. An actuator structure is arranged in the region of one of the two substrate openings and configured to vibrate the diaphragm to generate sound waves. An intermediate cavity is formed in a space between the diaphragm and the actuator structure. A coupling element is disposed in the intermediate cavity and connects the actuator structure to the diaphragm and can vibrate with respect to the carrier substrate.
Method for adapting the volume gain for the power limitation of an amplifier and amplifier
A method is provided for adapting an applied volume gain in an audio amplifier controlling at least one loudspeaker of an enclosure according to a desired volume gain selected by a user on a scale increased by a maximum desired volume gain, including determining effective intensity applied to the loudspeaker, calculating maximum volume gain from the desired volume gain, an effective intensity applied to the at least one loudspeaker, thermal characteristics of the loudspeaker, and the maximum desired volume gain, then calculating a variable applied volume gain according to an increasing monotonic function providing a variable applied volume gain according to the desired volume gain such that the image of the maximum desired volume gain by the monotonic function is equal to the maximum volume gain, and applying to the amplifier as applied volume gain, the minimum of the desired volume gain and the variable applied volume gain.
LIGHTING APPARATUS
The instant disclosure provides an LED light, including: a light cap, a hollow heat sink, a drive assembly, a speaker assembly, a light source assembly and a lampshade, wherein the light cap, the hollow heat sink and the lampshade are sequentially connected and form a receiving space, the drive assembly, the speaker assembly and the light source assembly sequentially arranged in the receiving space in the direction of the light cap to the lampshade, and the speaker assembly and the light source assembly are respectively electrically connected with the driving assembly, and the surface of the hollow heat sink provided with multiple holes, and the speaker assembly arranged facing the hole.
Vehicle approach notification device
A vehicle approach notification device includes a speaker disposed between push-pull circuits. The push-pull circuits amplify power of a notification sound signal by their push-pull outputs, and output the amplified notification sound signal to the speaker so that the speaker emits a notification sound for notification of an approach of a vehicle. When the push-pull outputs of the push-pull circuits are stopped, and the microcomputer outputs a high-level signal between a common connection terminal and ground, the microcomputer determines that there is a wire-discontinuity failure in the speaker when a voltage between common connection terminals is equal to or higher than a predetermined value.
Person support apparatuses with noise cancellation
A person support apparatus, such as a bed, cot, stretcher, or the like, includes an active noise cancellation device configured to generate a noise cancelling sound wave that is designed to cancel a noise sound wave. The active noise cancellation device may include speakers and a microphone. In other embodiments, the person support apparatus includes a sound emitting component and a transmitter adapted to send out a notification signal prior to activation of the sound emitting component. The notification signal provides information about a characteristic of the sound to be emitted by the sound emitting device. The recipient of the notification signal may then use the signal to cancel the sound that is to be emitted. In some embodiments, the person support apparatus acts as a conduit for notification signals of upcoming sounds, receiving and forwarding such notification signals from and to other devices.
Microphone with integrated sound box
A microphone with integrated speaker which includes a front casing with a front connecting portion and a front handle portion having a battery opening; a rear casing with a rear connecting portion and a rear handle portion connected to the front casing to form a first cavity with a cylindrical connecting portion and a cylindrical handle portion with a second cavity; a metallic net cover coupled with the cylindrical connecting portion; a vocal pickup support arrangement provided inside the metallic net cover between the front connecting portion and the rear connecting portion in which a vocal pickup unit is provided; a speaker positioned inside the first cavity; a pair of electrode plates positioned inside the second cavity; a circuit board affixed on the front casing; a battery cover detachably connected to the front handle portion; and an aluminum alloy handle covers the cylindrical handle portion.
Amplifier module and control method thereof
There is provided an amplifier module which includes a plurality of input terminals; a plurality of amplifier circuits configured to amplify a plurality of input signals which are input from each of the plurality of input terminals and output a plurality of amplified signals; and at least one speaker which is directly connected to at least one output terminals from among the plurality of amplifier circuits, wherein the amplifier module may output the plurality of amplified signals to the at least one speaker based on a number of the at least one speaker.
DIGITAL VISUAL ACUITY EYE EXAMINATION FOR REMOTE PHYSICIAN ASSESSMENT
Systems and methods for assessing the visual acuity of person using a computerized consumer device are described. The approach involves determining a separation distance between a human user and the consumer device based on an image size of a physical feature of the user, instructing the user to adjust the separation between the user and the consumer device until a predetermined separation distance range is achieved, presenting a visual acuity test to the user including displaying predetermined optotypes for identification by the user, recording the user's spoken identifications of the predetermined optotypes and providing real-time feedback to the user of detection of the spoken indications by the consumer device, carrying out voice recognition on the spoken identifications to generate corresponding converted text, comparing recognized words of the converted text to permissible words corresponding to the predetermined optotypes, determining a score based on the comparison, and determining whether the person passed the visual acuity test.
