A data routing method includes: receiving a route distinguisher of an MME serving UE sent by the MME; determining an information transmission manner supported by the MME; receiving_a query message sent by an MTC-IWF, where the query message carries a user equipment UE identifier and an information transmission manner that needs to be used; determining according to the information transmission manner supported by the MME, the UE identifier, and the information transmission manner that needs to be used, that the MME serving the UE supports the information transmission manner that needs to be used; and sending a route distinguisher of the MME that corresponds to the information transmission manner that needs to be used to the MTC-IWF, so that the MTC-IWF performs routing according to the route distinguisher. Therefore, a most effective transmission path is selected for information transmission, thereby improving service experience of a user.
Mobile device traffic splitter
A mobile device traffic splicer is disclosed. In various embodiments, a network communication associated with a destination is received from a mobile device. A stored routing data associated with the mobile device is used to determine, based at least in part on the destination, to redirect the network communication to a proxy associated with the destination. The network communication is sent to the proxy associated with the destination. In various embodiments, one or both of metering network traffic by destination and/or domain and filtering network communications and/or portions thereof based on the destination and/or domain may be performed.
Enhanced data collection, processing, and analysis facilities
A method and corresponding apparatus configured to collect raw data from a plurality of wireless devices. The raw data includes activity recorded when the wireless devices are at a selected topographic region. The raw data is combined to produce aggregated data representative of the activities of the individual wireless devices. Either the aggregated data or the raw data are selected for analysis depending on whether the raw data meets a threshold activity or subscriber density level. The selected data are analyzed to identify activity patterns of users of the wireless devices.
WAKEUP SCHEDULE COORDINATION ON A SHARED COMMUNICATION MEDIUM
Techniques for co-existence on a shared communication medium are disclosed. An activation command may be received, over a backhaul connection and via a first Radio Access Technology (RAT), configuring the first RAT for active operation on a shared communication medium. An activity indicator may be generated based on the active operation of the first RAT. Based on the activity indicator, one or more measurements scheduled to be performed on the communication medium in accordance with a second RAT and a corresponding wakeup schedule may be disabled. Access of a first RAT to a shared communication medium may also be monitored. A priority indicator for the first RAT may be generated based on the monitored access. Based on the priority indicator, release of a backhaul connection on the communication medium that is associated with a second RAT may be coordinated.
DETERMINING WHEN TO RELAY A DATA UNIT IN A CELLULAR COMMUNICATION NETWORK
The system (1) of the invention is configured to receive information relating to relay devices (11, 17-19) present in a certain spatial area and determine relay configuration information for the relay devices from the information. The relay configuration information instructs the relay devices when to receive and/or relay data units and when not to receive and/or relay data units. The system is further configured to transmit the relay configuration information to the relay devices. The relay device of the invention is configured receive a data unit from a further device (21) or not in dependence on the received relay configuration information and/or relay a received data unit to the cellular communication network (31) or not in dependence on the received relay configuration information.
Camel roaming adaptations
The present invention is directed towards a method for facilitating roaming tests for a club network. The method includes simulating a roamer's profile by a signaling gateway and associating with either a club network or a roaming partner network of the club network. The club network and the roaming partner network correspond to a Home Public Mobile Network (HPMN) and a Visited PMN, respectively, in case the roamer is an outbound roamer. In case the roamer is an inbound roamer, the club network corresponds to the VPMN and roaming partner network corresponds to the HPMN. The method further includes performing by the signaling gateway, one or more CAMEL capability tests on the roamer. The roaming subscriber is associated with either the club network or the roaming partner network.

The present invention discloses a sleeping link waking method and apparatus, and relates to the field of communications network technologies, which can automatically wake a sleeping link in a timely manner according to an actual load condition of a network, and reduce labor maintenance costs. According to embodiments of the present invention, a first router receives a first LSP packet sent by a management router, where the first LSP packet includes a first TLV, and the first TLV is used to determine a sleeping link to be woken; the first router determines, according to the first TLV, the sleeping link to be woken; and the first router wakes the sleeping link. The solutions provided by the embodiments of the present invention are suitable to be used to wake a sleeping link.

Based on operating context of the mobile device, opportunistic coordination rule(s) are selected from a local rules cache, the rule(s) representative of at least one power-saving option for retrieving data for responding to the request. The rule(s) are evaluated to determine how to retrieve data for responding to the request, and action(s) are performed based on the evaluating, the action(s) including responding to the request.
