Context aware thermal pressure prediction and reaction
This disclosure relates to techniques for a wireless device to predict and mitigate thermal pressure. Status information for multiple parameters for the wireless device may be received. A predicted thermal status for the wireless device may be determined based at least in part on the status information for the multiple parameters for the wireless device. The wireless device may determine whether to perform thermal mitigation action based at least in part on the predicted thermal status for the wireless device.
MULTICAST INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE
The method includes: sending, by an access point (AP), a multicast association identifier (MID) of a multicast group to a station (STA), where one multicast group has one or more MIDs, and each MID corresponds to one multicast group and a receiving period of a STA in the multicast group; sending, by the AP, a delivery traffic indication map (DTIM) beacon frame to the STA, where the DTIM beacon frame includes the MID and is used for indicating a multicast group that has multicast information to be sent to the STA; and sending, by the AP, the multicast information of the multicast group, where the multicast information carries information about the MID or information associated with the MID, and the multicast information is received by the STA. The technical solutions of the present invention reduce resource waste of a STA.
CELL MEASUREMENT METHOD AND TERMINAL
The present disclosure provides a cell measurement method and a terminal. The cell measurement method includes steps of: measuring a pilot signal from a to-be-measured cell, so as to acquire an channel estimation of N pilot signal transmission ports of the to-be-measured cell, N≧1; determining an equivalent received power corresponding to each precoding matrix in accordance with each precoding matrix in a set of precoding matrices and the channel estimation of the N pilot signal transmission ports of the to-be-measured cell; and determining an equivalent received power of the to-be-measured cell in accordance with the equivalent received power corresponding to each precoding matrix.
PAGING METHODS, PAGING APPARATUSES AND STORAGE MEDIA
The present disclosure relates to paging methods, paging apparatuses, and storage media. A paging method is applied to a network device and can include determining downlink control information, wherein the downlink control information comprises one or more bits of which a respective bit indicates whether there are one or more paging messages for a terminal group, and sending the downlink control information. A paging method is applied a terminal can include obtaining downlink control information, wherein the downlink control information comprises one or more bits of which a respective bit indicates whether there are one or more paging messages for a terminal group and determining a terminal group to which the terminal belongs, and determining whether to receive paging messages or not based on the terminal group to which the terminal belongs and a bit corresponding to the terminal group.
Interference coordination method, interference coordination device and measurement device
A system that determines to modify transmission power of a first small cell: determines an effect of modifying transmission power of the first small cell on a user equipment that is served by the first small cell; and controls modifying the transmission power of the first small cell based on the determination to modify the transmission power and the determined effect of modifying the transmission power on the user equipment that is served by the first small cell.
Cascaded radio communication system
A method and system for extending the range and coverage of wireless radio systems through the introduction of cascade devices are disclosed. In some embodiments, power allocations from a first power sourcing equipment (PSE) to a radio device are negotiated by an intervening cascade device. Also, OAM configurations of a radio controller are extended to radio devices via the intervening cascade device.

RACH COMBINING ACROSS MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS
A mechanism is proposed to reduce overhead at the expense of increasing latency for UEs with weak link gain, while the latency for most UEs may remain the same. In one aspect of this disclosure, a UE may determine the number of attempts for transmitting a RACH signal based on one or more of path loss, the transmit power of the UE, the beam correspondence at the UE, or the power of signals received during the synchronization subframe. The UE may transmit the RACH signal in the determined number of attempts. In another aspect of the disclosure, a base station may combine signals of one or more RACH attempts to decode a RACH signal. The base station may inform a UE regarding the number of RACH subframes that the base station uses for decoding the RACH signal through a random access response message.
Wireless client traffic continuity across controller failover and load-balancing
A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions which causes performance of operations comprising: receiving, by a second network coordination device, current state information of a client device, including a transmit counter and a receive counter, from a first network coordination device, wherein the first network coordination device is a primary network coordination device for the client device and the second network coordination device is a standby coordination device for the client device; and responsive to detecting a particular event, the second network coordination device (i) transitioning to be the primary network coordination device for the client device, (ii) incrementing the transmit counter by an offset, and (iii) transmitting a message to the client device including the incremented transmit counter is shown.
