DETERMINISTIC PLMN SELECTION DURING DISASTER ROAMING
Systems and methods are provided for public land mobile network (PLMN) selection for disaster roaming. A user equipment (UE) determines a disaster condition at a first PLMN, where the UE is a subscriber of the first PLMN. The UE determines an availability of a second PLMN for disaster roaming. The UE selects the second PLMN and attempts registration on the second PLMN for disaster roaming. In response to attempting the registration on the second PLMN for disaster roaming, the UE receives a registration reject message including a cause value corresponding to a registration failure for disaster roaming on the second PLMN due to the disaster condition on the first PLMN. The UE waits for a first period of time before again attempting to register for disaster roaming on the second PLMN for the first PLMN with the disaster condition.
REGISTRATION REQUEST HANDLING IN A CELLULAR NETWORK
A request for registration by a User Equipment (UE) to a cellular network is handled. The geographical coverage of the cellular network is divided into a plurality of tracking areas, each tracking area having a respective identifier. A registration request message is communicated from the UE to the cellular network via an access node. Where the registration request is rejected, a registration rejection message is communicated in response. The registration request message and/or the registration rejection message includes the identifier for each of one or more tracking areas to which the respective message applies.

AUTHENTICATION BETWEEN USER EQUIPMENT AND COMMUNICATION NETWORK FOR ONBOARDING PROCESS
Techniques are disclosed for security management during an onboarding process for user equipment. For example, from a perspective of an onboarding network, a method comprises authenticating, via the onboarding network, user equipment based on an onboarding record previously configured for the user equipment or a set of user equipment and maintained by the onboarding network. Upon successful authentication, a communication session is established from the onboarding network to a provisioning server for remote provisioning of the user equipment. Advantageously, the onboarding process is performed without a default credential server.

MULTI-USIM OPERATION IN USER EQUIPMENT
The disclosure relates to 5th generation (5G) and/or 6th generation (6G) communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method is provided of operating a user equipment (UE) with multi universal subscriber identity module (M-USIM) capability in a wireless communication system. The method includes performing a registration procedure with respect to a connected telecommunication network if the UE is in a non-allowed area and encounters or receives a trigger for a network access stratum (NAS) procedure related to an M-USIM feature.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING MOBILITY FOR USER EQUIPMENT IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a fifth generation (5G) or sixth generation (6G) communication system. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes selecting a stand-alone non-public network (SNPN) based on at least one of whether the SNPN supports a public warning system (PWS) or whether the SNPN supports an emergency call, transmitting, to a base station within the selected SNPN, a registration request message including information associated with supporting the PWS, and receiving, from the base station, a registration accept message.

Method for registering a target device with a network
A method for registering a target device with a network. The method includes a user sending an electronic registration message from a terminal device to a universal communication platform, wherein the registration message comprises information about an identity of the target device and an option for registering with the network. Integrating the—information in the registration message into an audio file by the universal communication platform. Sending the audio file from the universal communication platform to the user's terminal device. Playing the audio file by the terminal device of the user. The content of the audio file is captured by a microphone of the target device, and the information on the option for registering with the network is extracted. The target device registers with the network using the registration option.
