20230017217 · 2023-01-19 ·

Methods, apparatus, and systems for providing flexible multicast or broadcast session establishment and management are disclosed. In one example aspect, a wireless communication method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a broadcast and multicast or broadcast service center function, a request for establishing a multicast or broadcast session for an application function. The request comprises information indicating a target area for a multicast or broadcast service associated with the multicast or broadcast session. The method also includes determining, by the broadcast and multicast or broadcast service center function, at least one access and mobility management function based on the information; and transmitting, by the broadcast and multicast or broadcast service center function, a session trigger message to the at least one access and mobility management function to allow the at least one access and mobility management function to initiate an establishment of the multicast or broadcast session.

SERVICE RECEIVING METHOD AND SERVICE CONFIGURATION METHOD, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK-SIDE DEVICE
20230014481 · 2023-01-19 · ·

A service receiving method, a service configuration method, a terminal, and a network-side device are provided. The service receiving method is performed by the terminal, including: receiving configuration information about a frequency range in which at least one first service is located; and in a case that a target first service in the at least one first service needs to be received, receiving the target first service in a current operating frequency range or by switching from the current operating frequency range to a frequency range in which the target first service is located.

Common downlink and uplink semi-persistent resource configuration for full duplex

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive one or more messages indicative of uplink semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resources and downlink SPS resources allocated to the UE, the uplink SPS resources and the downlink SPS resources being within a frequency band used for full duplex communications by the UE. The UE may modify parameters associated with the full duplex communications on the uplink SPS resources, the downlink SPS resources, or both, based at least in part on instances of the uplink SPS resources at least partially overlapping in time with instances of the downlink SPS resources. The UE may apply the one or more parameters, after modification, to transmission of uplink communications over the instances of the uplink SPS resources, reception of downlink communications over the instances of the downlink SPS resources, or both.

Priority handling for prose communications

Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for priority handling for ProSe Communications. A relay wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may act as a relay between the network and the remote WTRU. The relay WTRU may receive a temporary mobile group identity (TMGI) request message from a remote WTRU. The TMGI request message may include a TMGI, a ProSe per packet priority level associated with the TMGI, etc. The relay WTRU may receive an evolved multimedia broadcast multicast service (eMBMS) data packet from a network. The eMBMS may be associated with the TMGI. The relay WTRU may apply the received ProSe per packet priority level associated with the TMGI to the received eMBMS data packet. The relay WTRU may relay the eMBMS data packet to the remote WTRU based on the ProSe per packet priority level. The relay WTRU may forward the eMBMS data packet to the remote WTRU via a PC5 interface.

Indication method, detection method, and related device

Implementations of the present disclosure provide an indication method, a detection method, and a related device. In the present disclosure, a network device indicates to user equipment, within what frequency domain ranges there is no SSB transmission, thereby preventing the user equipment from performing useless searches in the frequency domain ranges in which there is no SSB.

Method and receiver device for channel estimation of broadcast channel

A method and a receiver device are disclosed for channel estimation of a broadcast channel. According to an embodiment, the receiver device determines a first channel estimation of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) from a transmitter device. The receiver device determines a second channel estimation of one or more synchronization related reference signals from the transmitter device. The receiver device determines a final channel estimation of a broadcast channel from the transmitter device based at least on the first and second channel estimations.

Out-of-order processing

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) are described. Techniques are described herein for performing out-of-order processing. The UE may receive a first downlink channel at a first time and a second downlink channel at a second time. The UE may determine that a priority of the second downlink channel is different (e.g., higher) than a priority of the first downlink channel. The UE may determine that a first uplink transmission associated with the first downlink channel is to be transmitted after a second uplink transmission associated with the second channel based on the different priorities. The UE may set one or more operations based on these determinations. In some cases, the UE may suspend processing the of the first downlink channel to process the second downlink channel.

COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND DEVICE

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a communication method and apparatus, and a device. The method includes: a first terminal device determining a first time period; and the first terminal device transmitting a first resource set to a second terminal device within the first time period, where the first resource set is used for the second terminal device to perform resource selection. The communication interference is reduced.
