A portable body-washing apparatus is a self-supported, self-contained hygiene aid directed towards use in care-homes, hospitals, or other facilities typically tasked with assisted bathing of disabled persons. A mobile chassis supports an adjustable armature, a base chair segment, and at least one articulated chair segment to support a subject's body during washing. An onboard pump assembly and connected power supply feeds fluids from at least one fluid source through a plurality of conduits via a fluid selection source, enabling operators to select from various output modes, e.g., water, heated air, body wash, shampoo, et cetera. The plurality of conduits is connected to a plurality of outlet heads distributed across the base chair segment and at least one articulated chair segment to enable a full-body wash without requiring a caregiver to physically maneuver the patient.

A rehabilitation assisting apparatus has a main body, a waist assisting unit mounted above the main body, and two leg assisting units separately disposed side by side above the main body. Each of the leg assisting units is pivotally connected with the waist assisting unit. An upper rocking plate of the waist assisting unit can be driven to roll leftward and rightward to rehabilitate or train a waist of a user. A leg lifting bracket of each of the leg assisting unit can be driven to pitch upward and downward to rehabilitate or train a leg of the user.

Rehabilitation Robot Control Apparatus and Method Thereof

An embodiment rehabilitation robot control apparatus includes a brainwave signal measuring device configured to measure a brainwave signal of a user, a preprocessing device configured to preprocess the measured brainwave signal, a classification device configured to classify a motor intention of the user based on the brainwave signal preprocessed by the preprocessing device, and a controller configured to reflect the motor intention of the user in real time to control an operation or a stop of a rehabilitation robot.

Modular bed with vibration motor
11540961 · 2023-01-03 · ·

A modular bed includes a frame assembly, a plurality of elongated support units, and at least one vibration assembly including a rack, a stretchable web, and a vibration motor. The rack is detachably mounted on two selected adjacent ones of the elongated support units. The stretchable web has a central portion suspended across a lower opening of the rack. After the through bore is stretched to permit insertion of a positioning plate of the vibration motor, resilient retraction of the through bore causes a neck portion of the vibration motor to be trapped in the through bore with a motor body and the positioning plate of the vibration motor to be in abutting engagement with upper and lower surfaces of the stretchable web, respectively.

A finger-splinting sheath device is provided for use as a self-treatment aid in assisting a bowel in a patient suffering from complications of pelvic organ prolapse, namely rectocele. The finger-splinting sheath device generally includes a monolithic molded body including a flange-element, and a sheath-element having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the sheath-element is coupled to the flange-element at the proximal end and is closed at the distal end. The sheath-element generally includes an elliptical cross-section configured to receive two-fingers therein, wherein the sheath-element functions to splint the two fingers during use. A method for using the device includes inserting the device with two fingers within the sheath-element into the vagina and applying pressure to the vaginal walls to assist a bowel movement.

SPINAL THERAPY APPARATUS

A spinal therapy apparatus includes one or more manipulating assemblies. In some examples a first manipulating member is arranged to engage a spine at a first vertebral area between a spinous process and a transverse process on a first side of a spine and a second manipulating member is arranged to engage the spine at a second vertebral area between a spinous process and a transverse process on the first side of the spine. The first and second manipulating members are coupled together at their proximal ends to permit the first and second manipulating members to be driven simultaneously and the coupling permits motion of the first and second manipulating members relative to one another in an axial direction. In other examples a drive system is adapted to drive first and second manipulating members simultaneously and independently. The disclosure also relates to a spinal therapy bed including such manipulating assemblies and methods of using and training spinal therapy devices.
