Method and apparatus of transmitting training signal in wireless local area network system
A method of transmitting a training signal in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) system includes generating one or more first training signals for a first destination station and one or more second training signals for a second destination station by applying a mapping matrix P to a training signal generation sequence, mapping the first training signals and the second training signals to a plurality of antennas according to an antenna mapping matrix, and performing Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) on each of the first training signals and the second training signals mapped to the plurality of antennas and transmitting the training signals through the plurality of antennas.
Transport of multihoming service related information between user equipment and 3GPP evolved packet core
In an embodiment, there is provided a method for the transport of multihoming service related information between User Equipement UE and 3GPP Evolved Packet Core EPC through untrusted non 3GPP Access Network, said method comprising a step of: transporting multihoming service related information using signaling exchanged for security procedures between UE and an evolved Packet Data Gateway ePDG of said untrusted non 3GPP Access Network.
USER INPUT BACK CHANNEL FOR WIRELESS DISPLAYS
As part of a communication session, a wireless source device can transmit audio and video data to a wireless sink device, and the wireless sink device can transmit user input data received at the wireless sink device back to the wireless source device. In this manner, a user of the wireless sink device can control the wireless source device and control the content that is being transmitted from the wireless source device to the wireless sink device. The user input data transmitted by the wireless sink device can be input data obtained at a third party device and forwarded to the wireless source device.
Sensor output configuration
In a method of sensor output configuration, sensor output specifications for a plurality of sensor clients of a sensor are acquired. A first sensor output specification for a first of the sensor clients defines a first value for a sensor parameter. A second sensor output specification for a second of the sensor clients defines a second value for the sensor parameter. The first value and the second value are different. A sensor processing unit, which includes the sensor, is configured based on the sensor output specifications to: simultaneously provide an output of the sensor to the sensor clients according to the first value while a first operational condition is met; and simultaneously provide the output of the sensor to the sensor clients according to the second value while a second operational condition is met, wherein the first operational condition and the second operational condition are different.

Method and apparatus for configuring sounding signals in a wireless communication network
The teachings presented herein propose a separation between the configuration of a sounding signal, and the initialization of the sounding signal. In other words, in at least one example embodiment proposed herein, a base station or other controlling entity sends, to a mobile station, an explicit or implicit indication that causes the mobile station to transmit a sounding signal according to sounding signal configuration parameters that at least a portion of which were previously and separately sent to the mobile station.

GROUP TRANSMISSIONS IN WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORKS
A method for MU MIMO channel sounding by a STA includes receiving, from an AP, sounding information including an indication of a first STA of a group of STAs to transmit feedback and training symbols. The method further includes receiving, from the AP, a frame addressed to the group of STAs, wherein the frame includes a PHY preamble including group identification information identifying the group of STAs. The group identification information enables another STA not in the group of STAs, that receives the frame, to set its network allocation vector (NAV) timer based on a duration field in the frame. On a condition the STA is a first STA in the order of the group of STAs, a first sounding response frame may be transmitted to the AP, wherein the first sounding response frame includes quantized sounding feedback determined from the received training symbols.
SPLIT WIRELESS NETWORKS AND MANAGEMENT OF SAME TO PROVIDE DATA AND VOICE SERVICES
According to one configuration, a mobile communication device receives first communications over a first wireless communication link from a first wireless network (which potentially supports data only communications). The first communications received over the first wireless network can include a message indicating a pending incoming call available over a second wireless network (which potentially supports voice/call communications). In response to receiving the message indicating the pending incoming call, the mobile communication device is operated to receive second communications (such as a paging signal) from over the second wireless network. For example, the mobile communication device listens for a paging signal from the second wireless network further indicating the pending incoming call. If desired, an operator of the mobile communication device can accept the incoming call via a second wireless communication link to the second wireless network.
