A current supplied to the at least one LED in the light fixture is regulated by the electrical properties of the at least one filament. A method of configuring and managing a DALI network includes displaying rows of cells on a display of a mobile device. The cells are associated with addresses on DALI networks. The method further includes selecting, by the mobile device, a DALI controller, where DALI controller is connected to a DALI network. The DALI controller is configured to detect the DALI devices in response to a request from the mobile device. The method further includes displaying, within some or all cells in the row of cells displayed on the display of the mobile device, icons representing the DALI devices, where each cell having an icon displayed therein is associated with an address of a respective DALI device on the DALI network.

An innovative and highly efficient light system is disclosed herein. The light system includes a housing with an inner shroud and an outer shroud, a first light source and a second light source. The inner shroud is disposed within the outer shroud, and both light sources are disposed within the inner shroud. The second light source may produce light and heat. The heat from the second light source may be absorbed by the first light source to enable the first light source to more efficiently produce light. The light system may provide light from both the first light source and the second light source simultaneously. The inner surface of the outer shroud may contain an infrared reflective coating configured to retain the heat produced from the second light source within the housing while still enabling the output of the visible light produced by the first and second light sources.

The current subject matter relates to a lighting device that can be installed in an already existing fixture in a structure. The lighting device can include a light emitting diode (LED) lighting segment and a fluorescent lighting segment. The LED lighting segment can include a LED lighting source, and the fluorescent lighting segment can include a fluorescent lighting source. The LED lighting source can be activated. Motion sensors and/or occupancy sensors can detect motion and/or occupancy of an occupant in the structure. If there is motion or if the occupancy is more than a predetermined threshold, the fluorescent lighting source can be activated. After each regular interval of time, the detection of motion or occupancy can be re-performed.
