Deriving a white-point for use in a multi-color light scene
When a light scene comprises multiple colors of light, not all white light is suitable for matching the scene. A method is provided such that a white point is determined for each color in a set of colors, to create a set of white points. A single white point is then determined based on the set of white points. This allows, for example, a user to select a light scene (e.g. a romantic scene featuring red colors) for a living room, such that lighting devices contributing to the scene emit colored light. A functional lighting device (e.g. reading light) can then emit white light, determined according to the method, to provide more functional light (e.g. light suitable for reading) that matches the scene (e.g. warm white instead of cold white).
Movable solar power apparatus
A movable solar power apparatus may comprise at least a solar panel set electrically connected to a maximum power point tracking system (MPPT). A lithium battery set is electrically connected to a battery management system (BMS) which is adapted to monitor and protect the lithium battery set, and the BMS is electrically connected to the MPPT to enable power generated by the solar panel set to directly charge the lithium battery set. A low potential wake-up circuit has a double-contact relay and a single-contact relay, and the double-contact relay comprises a main contact, a first contact, and a second contact. The main contact is switchably electrically connected to the first contact or the second contact, and the main contact is electrically connected to the BMS while the first contact is electrically connected to the master control circuit, and the MPPT is electrically connected to the BMS under normal condition.
Photographic Lighting System and Method
Photographic lighting devices, systems, and methods having a plurality of electrical energy storage/discharge (EESD) elements and/or one or more light sources in a single photographic lighting device to perform one or more photographic lighting effects. EESD elements and one or more light sources can be configured to have multiple separate light emissions occur in a single image acquisition window. The multiple light emissions are separated in an image acquisition window by a time period that is about shutter speed exposure time/(N1), where N is the number of light emissions. In one such example, two light emissions are separated by a time period that is about shutter speed exposure time/(N1).
POWER GENERATION SYSTEM INCLUDING POWER GENERATING DEVICE AND CAPACITOR, AND CAPABLE OF STORING ENERGY OF GENERATED ELECTRIC POWER WITH REDUCING WASTE ENERGY
A power generation system includes: at least one power generating device generating electric power by rotation of an input shaft; and a power storage circuit including at least one capacitor and storing energy of the electric power generated by the power generating device. The power storage circuit has a capacitance equal to or near an energy-maximizing capacitance, the energy-maximizing capacitance indicating a capacitance maximizing an upper limit energy in characteristics of energy to capacitance, the characteristics being calculated as the upper limit energy to be stored in the power storage circuit, with respect to the capacitance of the power storage circuit. The characteristics of energy to capacitance are calculated based on: the capacitance of the power storage circuit, an electromotive force of the power generating device, an internal resistance of the power generating device, and a duration of one power generating action of the power generating device.
Rider notification apparatus and method
Disclosed are apparatuses and methods useful for providing a visual indication to the rider of a horse of one or more inputs, such as the pitch of the head of a horse. The apparatuses and methods are useful in connection with the sport of dressage. The rider can be notified of a position or orientation of the horse's head, of rein tension, of the rider's body position or orientation, of a current location within a course or routine, of a warning, or of other information. The visual indication can be in the form of an illuminated light source.
Turn table for photographing and image photographing system using same
A technology is provided in which a user generates a 3-D image for a photographing target only by a simple device without the rent of a studio or the use of a professional product and easily controls the generation of the 3-D image. The photographing turn table is installed in one area of a studio device having one area in which a photographing target is located and having an open one surface to allow image photographing through the open one surface. The photographing turn table includes a lower body, which is fixedly located in the one area and provided at a part of one surface thereof located in an opposite direction to a direction of a photographing device to emit light from the outer surface toward an inner wall which is included in the one area to form a background of the studio device, an upper body coupled to a top surface of the lower body rotatably relatively to the lower body, and a rotation module which include a rotation unit to rotate the upper body relatively to the lower body, and a rotation control device including a communication function to receive a control command from an external device and to control driving of the rotation unit according to the control command.
Monitor, light control system, and light fixture control method
A monitor, including a first wiring terminal group, a second wiring terminal group, and a grounding terminal, where the first wiring terminal group includes a first wiring terminal and a second wiring terminal, the first wiring terminal is configured to couple to a conducting wire of a cable, and the second wiring terminal is configured to couple to one end of a primary coil of an isolation transformer, the second wiring terminal group includes a third wiring terminal and a fourth wiring terminal, the third wiring terminal is configured to couple to the conducting wire of the cable, and the fourth wiring terminal is configured to couple to the other end of the primary coil of the isolation transformer, and the grounding terminal is configured to couple to a grounding medium of the cable.
VEHICLE SIGNAL AND LIGHTING SYSTEM CONFIGURABLE TO VARIOUS ARTICLES AND APPAREL
Vehicle signaling configurable to various articles and apparel is provided. An example system allows a user to dynamically assign vehicle signals for activating brake lights, turn signals, running lights, headlights, police emergency lights, and so forth, to user-selected lights built into articles and apparel. Vehicle signals may be wirelessly assigned to lights on articles and apparel through a smart phone application, or other portable software means. The system forms a self-managing wireless network, to which the user can add any number of additional illuminated articles and pieces of illuminated apparel, which are automatically sensed and integrated. An example helmet spoiler, for example, has a receiver for processing a wireless signal from a vehicle, to actuate brake lights, turn signals, headlights, and the like on the spoiler itself. In a police implementation, a helmet actuates police flashers on the helmet based on an assigned wireless signal from a police vehicle.
