Projection and/or waveguide arrangements for a software configurable lighting device
The examples relate to various implementations of a software configurable lighting device utilizing a projection and/or waveguide-based lighting system that offers the capability to present an image display and/or provide general illumination lighting of a space according to an image display selection and/or general illumination distribution selection. A controller generates control signals that cause the projection and/or waveguide-based lighting system to output the selected images and general illumination.

Quantum molecular based thermal interface material
A thermal interface structure includes a first surface including a surface of a heat generating device, a first surface binding polymer bonded to the first surface, a second surface including a surface of a heat sink, and a second surface binding polymer bonded to the second surface. The first surface binding polymer and the second surface binding polymer cross-link to one another to form a covalently bonded, cross-linked section that creates a thermal interface material that forms a continuous molecular connection between the first surface and the second surface.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
When a base film used in a flexible display panel is bonded to a resin member for fixing the base film that is curved, the base film has creases by an environmental change such as temperature due to difference in linear expansion coefficient before and after a thermal shock. A buffer plate that is thin enough to be bent is provided between the base film used in a flexible display panel and the resin member. With the use of heat dissipation effect and heat equalization effect of the buffer plate, a structure around the panel capable of resisting the environmental change can be provided.
ILLUMINATING DEVICE AND WEARABLE OBJECT WITH LIGHTING FUNCTION
An illuminating device includes an illuminating component set, a controlling circuit coupled to the illuminating component set, and a communication circuit electrically coupled to the controlling circuit. The controlling circuit further includes a storage and a processor electrically connected to the storage. The communication circuit is configured for receiving a picture transmitted by an input device and storing the picture into the storage. The processor selectively drives the illuminating component set to emit light according to a controlling signal and the picture. The illuminating device can be configured on a wearable object, so that the wearable object can be controlled to emit light by the input device.
System and method for monitoring the connection of a pluggable lighting unit to a socket
A socket (16) is designed to receive a plug of a pluggable device (14). The socket has a detection arrangement (42) for detecting connection of a plug to the socket. A new session identifier is generated each time a plug is connected to the socket and it remains valid while the plug remains attached. The session identifier is preferably generated mechanically (48) so that it can be generated without power to the socket or to the plug. This enables detection of system tampering of a system using the sockets.
LED module seam illumination
An LED display system having an LED module for reducing dark line defects. LED modules arranged adjacently in an LED display system form seams therebetween. An LED module for reducing dark line defects includes a set of imaging pixels for generating an image and a set of illuminating pixels for generating seam illumination through the seams. Seam illumination is directed through the seams directly or by a reflector integral with or attachable to the LED module or to a coupling assembly of the LED display system. The illuminating pixels may be controlled to track colour or intensity of the image being generated by imaging pixels.
INSTALLATION BOTTOM BASE, CONNECTION BASE, LIGHT SOURCE MODULE AND LIGHTING DEVICE
An installation bottom base is provided. The installation bottom base includes: a main body, a fixed installation structure connected with the main body, a light source installation structure and a bottom base terminal assembly, and the bottom base terminal assembly includes at least two bottom base terminals exposed to the light source installation structure. When the light source module is installed to the bottom base, the at least two base terminals are electrically connected with the plurality of light emitting units in the light source module, so that at least two of the light emitting units in the light source module are in different power supply circuits. In summary, current supplied to the light emitting units by a power module is transmitted by the at least two terminals, so that the at least two light emitting units are in different power supply circuits.
Backlight module and display device
A backlight module includes: a light guide plate; a light source for emitting light rays towards a first region of the light guide plate; a first grating provided at the first region and configured to adjust propagation directions of the light rays such that the adjusted light rays travel towards a second region of the light guide plate, and the propagation directions make an included angle with a normal to the light guide plate which is greater than the critical angle of total reflection of the light guide plate; and a second grating provided at the second region and configured to collimate the adjusted light rays such that the collimated light rays travel in a direction perpendicular to the light guide plate.
Stage light fixture with optical parameter detection function
A stage light fixture with an optical parameter detection function includes a light head, a supporting arm and a case. A light source for generating a light path, a light guiding member for guiding light to deviate from the light path, and an optical parameter detector are provided in the light head. The light guiding member can be freely switched into/out of the light path via a driving mechanism. The optical parameter detector can receive and detect the light guided out by the light guiding member. According to the present invention, the light guiding member can be switched into the light path to guide the light to the optical parameter detector for detection, only when the stage light fixture is started to work, or detection is performed at an interval between operations of the stage light fixture, while switched out of the light path when in operation.
