LIMB TREATMENT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF VASCULAR AND/OR NEUROPATHIC DISORDERS
20170231858 · 2017-08-17 ·

A medical treatment device and method provide relief from symptoms of peripheral neuropathy and/or vascular dysfunction. The device provides pressure along an inner surface of a human limb of a user, so that at least a portion of the pressure is derived from the weight of the user seated atop the device, and includes a frame for providing support of the device on a floor and one or more curved extensions extending above a center of the frame and downward toward the floor and configured to contact the inner surface of the limb of the user so that weight of the limb supplies at least some of the pressure. The treatment method includes seating a patient atop the device and maintaining the pressure for a treatment interval to provide relief from the symptoms of the peripheral neuropathy and/or vascular dysfunction.

SCALP SCRATCHING DEVICE

System for dynamically adjusting treatment angle under tension to accommodate variations in spinal morphology

A system for dynamically adjusting treatment angle under tension to accommodate variations in spinal morphology during spinal decompression therapy is provided. It provides a tensioning device including a patient-positioning means, a tension-producing actuator, a positioning device, a patient interface device, a control system and a display. The control system with feedback on the resultant tension vector applied to patient spine operationally configured to allow for adjustment of either tension producing actuator position, patient position, or both while applying tension to the patient spine during non-therapeutic tension levels. The control system automatically adjusts tension producing actuator work levels such that the resultant tension vector magnitude remains ideally constant during adjustment of resultant tension vector angle, reducing the risk of eliciting paraspinal muscle contraction due to changes in resultant tension vector magnitude.

Massage device and chair-type massage apparatus equipped with the massage device

A massage device for performing a kneading massage including paired left and right massage members, each having a treatment element, and a massage mechanism for operating at least one of the paired massage members to cause the treatment elements to move close to and away from each other in the horizontal direction to produce kneading actions. The massage member has an arm member extending substantially perpendicularly to the approaching/separating direction, and the treatment element is disposed at the front end of the arm member so that an extended line L extending along the protruding direction of the arm member passes through the interior of the treatment element.

Skin treatment apparatus

A facial treatment apparatus includes a housing, a facial treatment member mounted to the housing, and dimensioned for application to facial skin of a subject and being actuable to treat the facial skin, a visual display including a facial icon having a plurality of regions corresponding to different areas of the facial skin to be treated by the facial treatment member, an electronic timer adapted to count time associated with a treatment protocol and responsive to actuation of the facial treatment member and a controller associated with the timer and the facial icon and cooperating to visually identify a different region of the facial icon at successive predetermined time intervals of the treatment protocol.

KNOCKING STRUCTURE OF DOUBLE-HEAD FASCIA MASSAGER

A knocking structure of double-head fascia massager is disclosed. The knocking structure includes a motor fixed in a housing of the massager and a rotating shaft driven by the motor. The rotating shaft is arranged on both sides of an axis of the motor. Transmissions are arranged on both sides of the rotating shaft, and pistons are connected with the transmissions. The pistons are constrained to move in two nozzles of the housing. The transmissions drive the two pistons to reciprocate in a staggered manner. Two massage heads are connected to the pistons, and different massage heads reciprocate in a staggered manner. An advantage of the present disclosure is that one motor controls the simultaneous movement of the two massage heads, and two massage heads move back and forth to massage body, which speeds up the frequency of massage and increases the area.

PERSONAL CARE DEVICE WITH CONVERTIBLE HANDLE AND TREATEMENT HEAD

A therapeutic device for massaging, cleansing, or delivering of liquid substances has a variably configurable handle that is adapted to function with a plurality of head attachments. The handles may be swiveled relative to each other at various angled positions, or they may be detached to function as two, separate devices.
