Tissue compression devices having a tension limiting strap retainer and methods of using the same. The tissue compression devices described herein may include a strap retainer that is attached to a base by an elastic member that is configured to draw the strap retainer towards the base. The tissue compression devices described herein may also include a tension indicator that extends between the base of the tissue compression device and strap retainer. The tension indicator may be configured to limit the travel distance of the strap retainer away from the base in response to forces acting on the strap retainer. The tension indicator may also provide visual feedback to a user of the tension force in a strap to attach the tissue compression device to a patient.

A massaging system including a boot assembly, a sock assembly, a hydrotherapy assembly and a remote assembly is disclosed. The boot assembly includes a boot with a reservoir for water that is filled through a valve and sealed with a valve cap. Within the boot is a cavity to suspend a sock of the sock assembly within. Along the perimeter of the cavity are jet nozzles to spray water from the reservoir to the sock to provide hydrotherapy to a foot of a user received within the sock. Openings are also located about the perimeter of the cavity allowing water to be returned to the reservoir for continued use. The hydrotherapy assembly includes a water pump and a water heater that cooperate with the jet nozzles to control the settings thereof. The user is able to control the jet nozzles with a remote to customize the hydrotherapy received.

The fluid cells are arranged to overlap with one another such that in each pair of successive cells a first cell and a second cell are partially covering each other. A portion of the fluid cells are multi-cells comprising at least two connected fluid cells comprising at least a base fluid cell and a top fluid cell, wherein internal spaces of the fluid cells of the multi-cell are in fluid communication with each other and the top fluid cell and the base fluid cell are arranged in such that the top fluid cell partially covers a major surface of the base fluid cell.

A method for treatment of a headache disorder in a human subject, including selecting at least one treatment area in the nasal cavity of the human subject, said treatment area being selected from a posterior part of the nasal cavity or an anterior part of the nasal cavity, providing a device including a stimulation member arranged for vibration stimulation of the selected treatment area, and at least one expansion member provided with a channel having a plurality of openings arranged for fluid communication with the stimulation member, introducing the stimulation member into a nasal cavity of the human subject, expanding the stimulation member to a volume such that the stimulation member abuts against the tissue to exert a pressure on tissue of the selected treatment area and bringing the stimulation member to vibrate in the nasal cavity to impart vibrations to the selected treatment area, wherein the vibrations are imparted to a posterior part of the nasal cavity, to an anterior part of the nasal cavity, sequentially to a posterior and an anterior part of the nasal cavity; or simultaneously to a posterior and an anterior part of the nasal cavity.

The wound dressing apparatus facilitates administration of combined negative pressure and positive pressure treatment at a wound site. The CVV creates a breathing support system that is less intrusive than existing methods, and can improve the lives of people with COPD or paralyzed diaphragm muscles and is useful in other medical conditions, including sleep apnea, critical care, spinal cord injuries, and athletic training or physical therapy when the primary goal is to increase lung capacity.

Non-human animal compression therapy devices and methods. In some embodiments, the compression therapy devices includes one or more sleeves, each of the one or more sleeves being configured to fit a limb of a non-human animal, and each of the one or more sleeves comprising one or more inflatable chambers; and a controllable air source operably connected with the one or more inflatable chambers and configured to controllably inflate and deflate the one or more inflatable chambers. In some embodiments, at least one cycle of inflating and deflating of the one or more chambers starts by inflating the most distal chamber. In some embodiments, the compression therapy is given to eliminate or ease suffering from a disease or disorder or a sporting or work-related injury.
