The housing encloses the air pump and air valve device(s) during operation such that noise generated from or made by the air pump and air valve device(s) during operation is reduced, contained or eliminated. The present invention may include additional features: manual or automated armrest sliding, manual or automated shoulder massager with sliding mechanism, remote software update, media player holder, virtual reality player, wireless charger, hammering devices, heating acupuncture devices, and oxygen generator.

The connecting means connects the at least one elastic sock or sleeve in one embodiment by buttons inserted and connected into apertures on the at least one wrap. The inflation port has an open and closed mechanism so that when closed it maintains the level of inflation in the at least one bladder. The inflation means provides either constant or varying pressure within the bladder and a check valve is included in the inflation port and/or inflation means. The inflation means may be connected to a stabilization means configured to be attached to a body part of the user or a belt or bag or other means around for example, the shoulder, leg, waist or arm of the body. The inventive therapeutic compression apparatus and system is stabilized and secured on the user when the user moves the target body part.

The opening of the buckle is formed between the first arm and the second arm and is configured to allow the body of the cuff to extend through the u-shaped buckle.
