Reduced form factor oral irrigator
An oral irrigator has a removable reservoir defining a reservoir cavity, a base unit housing a motor and a pump, and a handle for directing fluid flow from the pump removably connected to the base unit and fluidly coupled to the pump by a hose. The handle has a housing defining a slot formed in an outer wall of the housing. The slot is bounded by two opposing walls spaced apart from each other and a transverse wall at a terminal interior end of the opposing walls. The outer wall of the housing is open to the slot at lateral sides of the two opposing walls and at a base end of the opposing walls opposite the transverse wall.
PERIODONTAL POCKET CLEANING DEVICE FOR CLEANING PERIODONTAL POCKETS BY BEING INSERTED INTO PERIODONTAL POCKET FORMED AT BOUNDARY BETWEEN TEETH AND GUMS, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PERIODONTAL POCKET CLEANING DEVICE
Disclosed is an apparatus for cleaning periodontal pockets configured to be inserted into the periodontal pockets formed at boundaries between teeth and gums so as to clean the periodontal pockets, the apparatus includes a customized frame configured to have a structure which the user puts in a mouth thereof and manufactured to match shapes of teeth and gums of a user, and inserts provided inside the frame and arranged at the boundaries between the teeth and the gums of the user so as to clean the periodontal pockets, and the inserts are formed at different positions for respective teeth of the user so as to correspond to the boundaries of the teeth and the gums, so that the inserts are capable of being inserted into the periodontal pockets despite differences in positions of the periodontal pockets of the respective teeth.
Oral irrigator
An oral irrigator has a first liquid container, a nozzle outlet, a pump driven by a drive to pump liquid from the liquid container to the nozzle outlet so that a liquid jet is emitted via the nozzle outlet, a first switch arranged so that the drive is powered when the first switch is actuated once and the oral irrigator is switched into an ON state, and so that powering of the drive is stopped and the oral irrigator is switched into an OFF state when the first switch is actuated once again, and a second switch arranged so that the drive is powered only while the second switch is continuously actuated by the user and powering is stopped when the second switch is released.
METHOD FOR TREATING MYOFASCIAL POINTS
A method of relieving a hyperirritable area on or surrounding a mandible. The method may include steps of selecting a first head component from a set of head components of a myofascial release apparatus (MRA); connecting the first head component with a handle of the MRA; locating the hyperirritable area on or surrounding the mandible of a patient experiencing muscle tension; contacting the hyperirritable area, via a contact member of the first head component, on or surrounding the mandible of the patient; actuating a motor of the MRA, via an electrical control assembly of the MRA, from an OFF state to an ON state for vibrating the first head component at at least one predetermined frequency; and relieving the hyperirritable area on or surrounding the mandible. Optional steps may be included when using other head components provided in the set of head components.
Oral irrigator with handle support
An oral irrigator is provided. The oral irrigator may include a base unit defining a recess, a reservoir supported by the base unit, a handle support attached to the base unit above the recess, an oral irrigator handle supported by the handle support, and a tube attached to the handle and in fluid communication with the reservoir and the handle such that fluid from the reservoir flows through the tube into the handle. The tube may include a coiled portion that is received in the recess defined by the base unit when the handle is supported by the handle support.
Tissue massager
A head unit configured to couple to a handle of an electric toothbrush, wherein the handle generates vibrational energy transferred to the head unit, the head unit including a proximal end and a distal end; a base adjacent to the proximal end, an exterior wall extending from the proximal end to the distal end, wherein the exterior wall encases a plurality of hollow chambers, wherein each of the plurality of hollow chambers are separated from one another by a scaffold, wherein the scaffold connects to the exterior wall; and a non-symmetrical bulb positioned at the distal end, wherein the non-symmetrical bulb includes a left half and a right half that are interlocked together by way of interlocking notches.
REDUCED FORM FACTOR ORAL IRRIGATOR
An oral irrigator has a base unit housing a motor and a pump, a removable reservoir defining a reservoir cavity configured to mechanically couple to a top surface of the base unit and fluidly couple the reservoir cavity to the pump, and a belt drive assembly connecting the motor to the pump. The belt drive assembly includes a drive pulley connected to an output shaft of the motor, a driven pulley spaced apart from the drive pulley and mechanically connected to a piston that drives the pump, and a continuous belt connecting the drive pulley to the driven pulley. A handle for the oral irrigator may include a housing defining a slot formed in an outer wall of the housing.
Dental care apparatus
A dental care apparatus including a head and a handle. The head includes a brush, a massager, and a guard. The brush and the massager extend from opposing side portions of the head. The massager includes a base and a plurality of projections extending from the base to stimulate oral tissue. The base is adapted to change in shape to conform to an interior surface of a mouth. The guard extends along a perimeter of the head to prevent, or at least reduce, traumatic contact with oral tissue. The handle includes an eating utensil and a cleaner. The eating utensil and the cleaner extend from opposing side portions of the handle. The eating utensil includes a reflective surface to facilitate visual inspection of an oral cavity and a bumper rim extending along a perimeter of the handle to circumferentially encase the reflective surface. The cleaner includes a plurality of projections.
WIRELESS GUM OR TISSUE NUMBING DEVICE
A wireless gum numbing device includes an on or off switch, a soft rubber cover, and a base assembly with the soft rubber cover covering an underside of the base assembly. The wireless gum numbing device includes two lateral support assemblies, a finger holding clip and a fingertip retention piece. The two lateral side assemblies rise horizontally from a left side and a right side of the base assembly and hold a user's finger from moving laterally during use of the wireless gum numbing device. A finger of the user touches the finger holding clip. The fingertip retention piece connects the base assembly to the finger holding clip to prevent the fingertip from moving too far in a forward direction.
