Dental care apparatus and methods
20190357665 · 2019-11-28 ·

A dental care apparatus including a head and a handle. The head includes a brush, a massager, and a guard. The brush and the massager extend from opposing side portions of the head. The massager includes a base and a plurality of projections extending from the base to stimulate oral tissue. The base is adapted to change in shape to conform to an interior surface of a mouth. The guard extends along a perimeter of the head to prevent, or at least reduce, traumatic contact with oral tissue. The handle includes an eating utensil and a cleaner. The eating utensil and the cleaner extend from opposing side portions of the handle. The eating utensil includes a reflective surface to facilitate visual inspection of an oral cavity and a bumper rim extending along a perimeter of the handle to circumferentially encase the reflective surface. The cleaner includes a plurality of projections.

Oral irrigator

An oral irrigator has a separate high pressure water system and low pressure mouth rinse system to deliver two different fluids to a pick or other accessories. The water system and mouth rinse system are combined in a handle. The pick is connected to the handle. The water system has a blocking valve located in the handle and the mouth rinse system has a hand pump located in the handle. The hand pump sits next to a valve button for closing the blocking valve. When the hand pump is pressed, it presses against the valve button of the blocking valve to shut off the source of high pressure water to the pick. The pressure in the pick drops so that the hand pump can then introduce mouth rinse into the pick. When the hand pump is released, the blocking valve opens up and high pressure water returns to the pick.

Light Irradiating Toothbrush Having Multiple Light Sources Arranged in Alternation

METHOD AND DEVICES TO INCREASE CRANIOFACIAL BONE DENSITY
20190239992 · 2019-08-08 ·

The present invention relates to a method for increasing bone growth in teeth and/or other craniofacial regions of a subject. This method includes administering to the jaw and/or teeth of the subject a mechanical vibration having a frequency of 10 to 1000 Hz with an acceleration peak of 0.1 to 2.00 g and that can produce a low magnitude strain of 1 to 50 microstrain in the jaw and/or teeth. The present invention also relates to devices that deliver high frequency, low magnitude force to the teeth.
