A formulation for preparing organic electronic devices, has: a p-type organic semiconductor polymer including a conjugated aryl compound, a conjugated heteroaryl compound, or a mixture of at least two of these compounds; an n-type semiconductor material having fullerene, substituted fullerene, or a mixture of at least two of these compounds; and a non-aqueous solvent. The concentration of the p-type organic semiconductor polymer is in the range from 12 mg/mL to 17 mg/mL per milliliter of solvent and the concentration of the p-type organic semiconductor material is in the range from 24 mg/mL to 28 mg/mL per milliliter of solvent.

Provided is a light-emitting element with high external quantum efficiency and a low drive voltage. The light-emitting element includes a light-emitting layer which contains a phosphorescent compound and a material exhibiting thermally activated delayed fluorescence between a pair of electrodes, wherein a peak of a fluorescence spectrum and/or a peak of a phosphorescence spectrum of the material exhibiting thermally activated delayed fluorescence overlap(s) with a lowest-energy-side absorption band in an absorption spectrum of the phosphorescent compound, and wherein the phosphorescent compound exhibits phosphorescence in the light-emitting layer by voltage application between the pair of electrodes.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, an active matrix substrate (100) includes a display region (DR) defined by a plurality of pixel regions (P) arranged in a matrix and a peripheral region (FR) located around the display region. The active matrix substrate includes a substrate (1), a first TFT (10), and a second TFT (20). The first TFT is supported by the substrate and disposed in the peripheral region. The second TFT is supported by the substrate and disposed in the display region. The first TFT includes a crystalline silicon semiconductor layer (11), which is an active layer. The second TFT includes an oxide semiconductor layer (21), which is an active layer. The first TFT and the second TFT each have a top-gate structure.
