A display device and a method of manufacturing a display device are provided. A display device includes a lower conductive pattern disposed on a substrate, a lower insulating layer disposed on the lower conductive pattern, the lower insulating layer including a first lower insulating pattern including an overlapping region overlapping the lower conductive pattern, and a protruding region. The display device includes a semiconductor pattern disposed on the first lower insulating pattern and having a side surface, the side surface being aligned with a side surface of the first lower insulating pattern or disposed inward from the side surface of the first lower insulating pattern, a gate insulating layer disposed on the semiconductor pattern, a gate electrode disposed on the gate insulating layer, and an empty space disposed between the substrate and the protruding region of the first lower insulating pattern.

A display device including a laminate includes a wavelength selective absorption layer containing a resin, a dye including at least one of four specific dyes A to D, and an antifading agent for a dye, and includes a gas barrier layer, and a wavelength conversion material; the laminate includes a wavelength selective absorption layer containing a resin, a dye, and an electron migration-type antifading agent in which the energy level of the highest occupied molecular orbital and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital satisfy a specific relational expression in relation to the dye, and includes the gas barrier layer; an organic electroluminescent display device includes this laminate. The gas barrier layer contains a crystalline resin, has a layer thickness of 0.1 μm to 10 μm, has a layer oxygen permeability of 60 cc/m.sup.2.Math.day.Math.atm or less, and is directly arranged on at least one surface of the wavelength selective absorption layer.
VIEWING ANGLE CONTROL SYSTEM AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
Provided is a viewing angle control polarizing plate that has asymmetric transmission characteristics, does not cause moire even in a case of being used in combination with a high-definition image display device, and is capable of easily following a curved surface and a viewing angle control system with high productivity. The viewing angle control system includes at least a first polarizer and an optically anisotropic layer, in which an absorption axis of the first polarizer forms an angle of 45° or greater with respect to an in-plane direction, and a main axis of a refractive index of the optically anisotropic layer is tilted in the in-plane direction.

Disclosed is a light-emitting element including a first electrode, a first light-emitting layer, an ionic-liquid layer, a second light-emitting layer, and a second electrode. The first light-emitting layer is located over the first electrode and includes a first emissive polymer and an ionic liquid. The ionic-liquid layer is located over the first light-emitting layer and includes an ionic liquid. The second light-emitting layer is located over the ionic-liquid layer and includes a second emissive polymer and an ionic liquid. The second electrode is located over the second light-emitting layer. The light-emitting element may further include a first substrate under the first electrode, a second substrate over the second electrode, and a sealing layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate and surrounding the first electrode.
DISPLAY MODULE, MANUFACTURE METHOD THEREOF AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display module, including a display panel: a cover plate on a light-emitting side of the display panel; and a heat dissipation layer on a back side of the display panel. The back side faces away from the light-emitting side. Edges of the cover plate, the display panel and the heat dissipation layer are bent toward the back side of the display panel to form a shape-matched arc surface. The display panel further includes a planar portion and edges surrounding the planar portion. At least part of an edge of an orthographic projection of the display module on a plane where the planar portion of the display panel is located is arc. The heat dissipation layer includes a stretchable structure in an arc surface region having an arc edge.

A novel light-emitting device that is highly convenient, useful, or reliable is provided. The light-emitting device includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a first unit. The first unit is located between the first electrode and the second electrode, and the first unit has a function of emitting light. The first unit contains a light-emitting organic compound and an organic compound HRM. The organic compound HRM has four or more rotatable bonds and a principal moment of inertia. The principal moment of inertia includes a first normalized principal moment of inertia NPR1 and a second normalized principal moment of inertia NPR2 in a predetermined region.

A display apparatus includes: a display including a display surface on which an image is displayed; and a decorative layer that is arranged on the display surface side of the display and includes a base layer and a design layer each formed to cover the display surface. The base layer includes a light diffusing material. A plurality of microholes are formed through the base layer. The design layer is formed to cover the plurality of microholes and a non-opening portion of the base layer.
