Multi-function pelvic trigger point wand and related software.
A Multi-function Pelvic Trigger Point Massage Wand is a handheld device for the treatment of pelvic pain and pain/discomfort caused by related urinary and sexual dysfunctions. The device provides an adjustable combination of heat, vibration, electric stimulation, electromyography, photoplethysmography pulse oximetry, and biofeedback, depending on the treatment regimen desired. A metal sensor band around the release-end of the wand conducts electromyography and electrical stimulation. Photodiode sensors are coupled with green and infrared LEDs to calculate the users heart rate and blood flow. A sensor for biofeedback measurement assigns data produced from electrical stimulation sensors, electromyography sensors, photodiode sensors and the biofeedback/pressure measuring function to a smart device with operating software created specifically for the pelvic trigger point wand. The information output is collected and analyzed to show the results of different treatment techniques.
GASTROINTESTINAL TREATMENT SYSTEM INCLUDING A VIBRATING CAPSULE, AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A gastrointestinal treatment system including a gastrointestinal capsule adapted to treat a subject following ingestion of the gastrointestinal capsule. The gastrointestinal capsule includes: (a) a housing; (b) a vibrating agitator, powered by the battery, the vibrating agitator adapted such that, in a first vibrating mode of operation, the housing exerts vibrations on an environment surrounding the capsule; (c) a power supply disposed within the housing and adapted to power the vibrating agitator; and (d) a controller adapted, in response to receipt of an activation input, to activate the vibrating agitator to operate in the first vibrating mode of operation at at least one predetermined time of day. The system and method may be used to treat an ailment of the gastrointestinal tract and/or to mitigate at least one symptom of jetlag in a subject travelling from an origin location to a destination location.
Gastrointestinal capsule
An ingestible gastrointestinal capsule (GIC) for mechanically stimulating a segment of the gastrointestinal (GI) wall by alternately and repeatedly pressurizing, and/or vibrating it is provided. The GIC is programmed to being activated following a predefined time delay. The activated GIC agitates, shakes, rattles, jolts, vibrates and/or moves in a reciprocal expanding and contracting motion thereby mechanically stimulating the adjacent segment of the GI wall at a targeted location. Activation of the GIC may include a number of automatically accomplished partial activations, such as when the time elapsed from the moment of setting the GIC on equals a predefined time delay; when the mechanical load applied onto the GIC exceeds, and/or gets lower than a respective predefined level of mechanical load; when the ambient pH reaches a predefined level, or changes, and/or a temperature associated with the user reaches a predefined threshold. Agitation is accomplished by an agitation mechanism embedded in the GIC. Such agitation mechanism includes an unbalanced weight attached to the shaft of an electric motor, an actuator implemented by, such as an electric solenoid, an electro-active polymer (EAP), a dielectric elastomer actuator (DEA), embedded in a GIC of the invention.
INDWELLING DEVICE FOR TREATING FLORA AND METHOD FOR TREATING FLORA
An indwelling device for treating flora includes probiotics, a carrier carrying the probiotics and including a first region arranged in an appendico and a second region arranged in an intestinal cecum, in which the probiotics are carried in the first region and the second region contains an antibacterial agent.
VIBRATION CAPSULE AND POWER SUPPLY METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides a vibration capsule and a power supply method thereof. The vibration capsule includes an enclosure, a vibration source disposed within the enclosure and a battery unit electrically connected to the vibration source. The battery unit includes a battery and a power supply regulation unit connected to the circuit of the battery and the vibration source. The vibration capsule regulates the supply voltage of the battery to the vibration source through the power supply regulation unit, so that the battery provides the supply voltage lower than the total voltage of the battery to the vibration source, which can reduce power consumption and provide longer vibration time while ensuring the vibration safety of the vibration capsule.
EXTERNAL EAR CANAL PRESSURE REGULATION DEVICE
An external ear canal pressure regulation device including a fluid flow generator, an earpiece having an axial earpiece bore, and a valved conduit fluidicly coupled to the fluid flow generator and the axial earpiece bore, whereby the earpiece has a compliant earpiece external surface configured to sealably engage an external ear canal as a barrier between an external ear canal pressure and an ambient pressure.

Systems and methods for non-contact multiparameter vital signs monitoring, apnea therapy, apnea diagnosis, and snore therapy
Aspects of the of the disclosure relate to a non-contact physiological motion sensor and a monitor device that can incorporate use of the Doppler effect. A continuous wave of electromagnetic radiation can be transmitted toward one or more subjects and the Doppler-shifted received signals can be digitized and/or processed subsequently to extract information related to the cardiopulmonary motion in the one or more subjects. The extracted information can be used, for example, to determine apneic events and/or snoring events and/or to provide apnea or snoring therapy to subjects when used in conjunction with an apnea or snoring therapy device. In addition, methods of use are disclosed for sway cancellation, realization of cessation of breath, integration with multi-parameter patient monitoring systems, providing positive providing patient identification, or any combination thereof.

PAIN MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A pain management device with a body portion having an elongate handle with an arm at one end for releasably attaching treatment attachments, the body portion having generally planar scraping wings for Gua Sha treatment, and a motor inside the body portion configured to impart vibration in each of several modes optimized for vibration therapy. The invention may also include a kit with the pain management device, and one or more treatment attachments designed for unilateral or bilateral vibration application adjacent to trigeminal and/or vagus nerves. The treatment attachment may have two or more pivotable arms that extend that extend perpendicular to the elongated handle when attached to the pain management. Also disclosed are methods of using the pain management device, in particular, for treating chronic and other pain and similar conditions.
