Facade panel conditioning system
11415328 · 2022-08-16 ·

A facade panel conditioning system for installation on a new or existing building is disclosed. The system includes modular panels, a structural anchor, hydronic piping, and ductwork. The panels attach to each other around the exterior of the building forming an insulated shell. The anchor attaches the panels to the building structure forming an air cavity between each individual panel and the exterior. The hydronic piping transfers heat to the air cavity and individual units of the building. The ductwork delivers ventilated air and exhaust air to the air cavity and individual units. The hydronic piping of a panel connects to the hydronic piping of an adjacent panel forming a hydronic piping system that distributes heat or cool throughout the shell. The air duct of a panel connects to the air duct of an adjacent panel forming an air duct ventilation system that distributes air throughout the shell.

CABLE

A cable includes: a pair of wires including two inner conductors and a respective insulating layer covering each of the two inner conductors; a first shielding layer covering the pair of wires; a second shielding layer covering the first shielding layer; and an outer coating layer covering the second shielding layer, wherein the insulation layer is covered with a sheath layer that is simultaneously extruded and formed, and the sheath layer covers the wires so that the two wires abut each other in parallel.

LOW-DISPERSION SINGLE-MODE OPTICAL FIBER

A low-dispersion single-mode optical fiber includes a core and claddings covering the core. The core has a relative refractive index difference of 0.30-0.65% and a radius of 2.5-4.5 μm. The claddings include first, second, third cladding layers and an outer cladding arranged sequentially from inside to outside. The first cladding layer covers the core, and has a relative refractive index difference of −0.70% to −0.30% and a radius of 4.5-7.5 μm. The second cladding layer covers the first cladding layer, and has a relative refractive index difference of −0.20% to −0.25% and a radius of 7.0-12.0 μm. The third cladding layer covers the second cladding layer, and has a relative refractive index difference of −0.60% to 0.00% and a radius of 10.0-20.0 μm. The outer cladding covers the third cladding layer, and is a layer made of pure silicon dioxide glass.

ELEVATING-TYPE SHELTER DOOR

An elevating-type shelter door enables operators to easily open and close in a short period of time, is highly water-tight, and has an excellent durability. A shelter door opens and closes an opening portion when a door body ascends and descends along a guide rail by means of an elevating device. The opening portion is provided on a ceiling of a shelter body. The shelter body is defines an interior space which serves as an evacuation space in an underground. A main body has a central convex portion which slidably fits to the opening portion along an inclination direction in which both the opening portion and the guide rail inclines. An elevating stand is slidably fixed to move along a rest column. The elevating stand is located above the opening portion when the door body is fully ascended and located in the interior space when the opening portion is closed.

RESIN COMPOSITION, AND COMMUNICATION CABLE AND WIRE HARNESS USING SAME

A communication cable includes 51 to 85 parts by mass of a polyolefin resin, 15 to 49 parts by mass of a flexible resin, 10 to 80 parts by mass of a halogenated flame retardant per 100 parts by mass of a total of the polyolefin resin and the flexible resin, and at least one of titanium oxide or metal hydroxide, the resin composition having a permittivity of 2.5 to 3.5.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING POWER BASED ON PREDICTED WEATHER EVENTS
20220066400 · 2022-03-03 ·

A method and apparatus for controlling power production. In one embodiment, the method comprises determining a predicted weather event; determining a predicted power production impact for a distributed generator (DG) array based on the predicted weather event; and controlling power production from one or more components of the DG array to compensate for the predicted power production impact.

Power control device, operation plan planning method, and recording medium

A prediction calculator uses a prediction model to determine a predicted value of an amount of power to be generated by a power generation apparatus and a predicted value of an amount of power to be consumed by an appliance. The predicted values are associated with accuracy information. An operation planner makes an operation plan using the predicted values determined by the prediction calculator, a user schedule included in user setting information, and an electricity rate table or weather forecast information. When the accuracy of the predicted value is lower than a predetermined reference, the operation planner makes the operation plan only using other information without using the predicted value.
