Method for Improving the Performance of the Energy Management in a Nearly Zero Energy Building
An optimal energy management method and a system that implements the method for a nearly zero energy building (nZEB) based on the genetic algorithm technique that can provide an optimal balance between the objectives of energy saving, comfort of the building residents and maximum exploitation of the generated electric energy by the renewable energy sources through the proper utilization of a battery storage system, is developed in this invention. The above can be attained by minimizing a cost function that considers the real-time electricity price, the generated/consumed electric energy by each device, the user preferences, the state-of-charge and the energy price of the battery storage system (BSS), and the weather forecast. the system that implements the optimal energy management method comprises energy and temperature sensors, controllable power switches, a battery storage system and a controller with human machine interface. The outcomes of the energy management system are control signals that regulate the operation of the power switches and the inverter of the battery storage system.

The upper deck having plankton pools plankton pumped from ocean floor by a piston traveling within a cylinder by double acting telescopic actuator for fishery feedings. All towers bottom-end secured to seabed dirt with multiple heavy cement poles with embedded cylinder and piston moving under ocean water high pressure into seabed dirt with self-drilling plungers.
Data cable
The present invention relates to the field of electronic device accessory technology and in particular to a data cable. The data cable includes a data cable plug and an adapter element which are in rotational connection. The data cable plug includes at least two metal sheets. A space for rotational connection of the adapter element is formed between two of the metal sheets. When the adapter element is rotationally connected in the space, not only can the electrical connection between the adapter element and the data cable plug be guaranteed, but also an angle of the adapter element relative to the data cable plug can be well adjusted. Therefore, use requirements of a user are satisfied. Meanwhile, the situation that a cable body connected to a power supply is bent repeatedly to adversely affect the service life of the data cable will be avoided.
Apparatuses for mounting and supporting insulation
A hanger apparatus is provided for attaching and securing building materials to a structure, such as attaching fibrous insulation to a wall or a cladding system on a building. The hanger includes a selectively deployable securing element such as a bendable barb to impale the building material and to secure the impaled building material to the hanger. The hanger may include a sealing fastener to secure the apparatus to the structure and to form a air, vapor, or weather seal between the fastener, hanger apparatus, and structure. The hanger is configurable for use with a single securing element or may be interlocked with additional hangers to create a chain of securing elements to secure a large portion of building material to a large section of a building. The hanger may include relief notches or apertures to reduce the force required to bend portions of the apparatus.
Facade Panel Conditioning System
A facade panel conditioning system for installation on a new or existing building is disclosed. The system includes modular panels, a structural anchor, hydronic piping, and ductwork. The panels attach to each other around the exterior of the building forming an insulated shell. The anchor attaches the panels to the building structure forming an air cavity between each individual panel and the exterior. The hydronic piping transfers heat to the air cavity and individual units of the building. The ductwork delivers ventilated air and exhaust air to the air cavity and individual units. The hydronic piping of a panel connects to the hydronic piping of an adjacent panel forming a hydronic piping system that distributes heat or cool throughout the shell. The air duct of a panel connects to the air duct of an adjacent panel forming an air duct ventilation system that distributes air throughout the shell.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT METHOD
Cooperation in supply and demand balance of renewable energy in a region is implemented by operation of infrastructures of an infrastructure service such as water supply.
In an energy management system including: a processor; and a storage device, the processor predicts an electric power supply amount utilizing renewable energy in a predetermined region, predicts an electric power demand amount in the region, predicts a demand amount of an infrastructure service different from an electric power service in the region, predicts an electric power demand amount corresponding to the infrastructure service on the basis of the predicted demand amount of the infrastructure service in the region, and determines use time of electric power corresponding to the infrastructure service such that the electric power demand amount in the region approaches the electric power supply amount.

Smart Window for Green Energy Smart Home and Smart Grid with Field Programmable System On Chip FPSOC of Anlinx, Milinx and Zilinx
The smart window for the smart home and smart grid can harvest energy and supply power to the home, grid and window itself. The smart window for the smart home and smart grid has all the Electrochromic panel, Solar panel and Multimedia panel been the same full window wide view and aligned with each other in IGU. To be a home automation system, the smart window has local/remote access/control capabilities. There are several types of smart windows working as master device or slave device. The operation of smart window automation system has three modes, normal/open mode, shut/tint mode and smart phone mode. The tube of air circulation system is hidden inside the frame surrounding IGU. Most of the electronic components are integrated to be FPSOC Field Programmable System On Chip that all the electronic component is hidden in the frame surrounding IGU, too. Therefore, the smart window doesn't have any blockage of window view with the Solar panel, Electrochromic panel, Multimedia panel and air circulation system. The smart window has the clean outlook as the conventional dual panel IGU does. The master device of the smart window system is similar to the huge screen working as a smart phone. In normal/open mode, the smart window is similar to the conventional dual panel window having the full-panel clean and clear view. For the different architectures of the smart homes, the smart window must have versatile alignments and system control that the smart window has to be implemented with the Field Programmable System On Chips of Anlinx, Milinx and Zilinx made of the W5RS advanced FPSOC chip technologies.
