Dual sensor electrodes for providing enhanced resuscitation feedback
A system for facilitating resuscitation includes: a first electrode assembly having a therapy side and a first motion sensor; a second electrode assembly having a therapy side and a second motion sensor; processing circuitry operatively connected to and programmed to receive and process signals from the first and second motion sensors to estimate at least one of a chest compression depth and rate during administration of chest compressions and to compare the chest compression depth or rate to a desired range; and an output device for providing instructions to a user to administer chest compressions based on the comparison of the estimated chest compression depth or rate to the desired range. One or both of the electrode assemblies may be constructed so that the conductive therapeutic portion is able to maintain substantial conformance to the anatomy of the patient when coupled thereto. For example, at least a portion of the flexible electrode pad may be able to flex from a more rigid sensor housing, or the sensor housing itself may be relatively small compared to the flexible electrode pad so as not to cause lift off of the therapeutic side from the patient.
“Wearable sensor devices and systems for patient care”
A system for monitoring performance of a resuscitation activity on a patient by an acute care provider is provided. The system includes: a first wearable sensor configured to sense movement of a first portion of an acute care provider's hand; a second wearable sensor configured to sense movement of a second portion of the acute care provider's hand; and a controller. The controller is configured to: receive and process signals representative of performance of a resuscitation activity from the first sensor and the second sensor; identify from the processed signals information indicative of at least one of a relative distance, a relative orientation, a change in relative distance and a change in relative orientation between the first sensor and the second sensor during performance of the resuscitation activity; and determine at least one resuscitation activity parameter based, at least in part, on the identified information.
CHEST COMPRESSION DEVICE
Disclosed is a chest compression device. The chest compression device includes a back for supporting the back of a patient, a compression part for compressing the chest of the patient, a U-shaped support for supporting the compression part, a pair of driving parts for allowing the support and the compression part connected thereto to perform a vertical reciprocating movement, and a control part for controlling the operation of the pair of driving parts.
Apparatus and methods for assisting breathing
The present invention provides, among other things, apparatus and methods of use for treating a subject in need of assistance with breathing. In some embodiments the subject suffers from airflow obstruction. In some embodiments, the subject suffers from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Massage Chair Having a Sliding Armrest with Hand Stretching, Armrest Position Adjustment and Remote Software Update
The present invention is directed to a massage chair having a massage chair frame, a massage and stretching system, and a noise-reducing, enclosure device. The frame includes a first end, a second end, a seat body area portion, and a back body area portion. The massage system includes at least one air massage element, an air pump, and at least one air valve device for regulating air flow into and out of the air massage element. The enclosure device includes an enclosure housing and noise-reducing material positioned inside the housing. The housing encloses the air pump and air valve device(s) during operation such that noise generated from or made by the air pump and air valve device(s) during operation is reduced, contained or eliminated. The present invention may include additional features: manual or automated armrest sliding, manual or automated shoulder massager with sliding mechanism, remote software update, media player holder, virtual reality player, wireless charger, hammering devices, heating acupuncture devices, and oxygen generator.

Device for cardiopulmonary massage and/or resuscitation
A device for cardiopulmonary massage and/or resuscitation of a patient, which has a massage device arranged on a support board and includes a reversibly drivable massage stamp that can be positioned at a desired contact area on the thoracic cage of the patient for performing cardiopulmonary massage, and further includes a retention plate element which can be positioned on the thoracic cage of the patient at the desired contact area and which, by using at least three clamping elements engaging on its circumference, can be fixed, in particular can be connected to and braced by the support board. This has the effect that the mechanical cardiopulmonary massage can be maintained upright even during difficult transport maneuvers, since the relative position of the patient with respect to the massage device is not appreciably changed by its being clamped between the support board and the retention plate element.
CPR chest compression system
In embodiments, a CPR chest compression system includes a retention structure that can retain the patient's body, and a compression mechanism that can perform automatically CPR compressions and releases to the patient's chest. The compression mechanism can pause the performing of the CPR compressions for a short time, so that an attendant can check the patient. The CPR system can include a user interface that can output a human-perceptible check patient prompt, to alert an attendant to check the patient during the pause. The compression mechanism can during a CPR session retreat a distance away from the patient's chest whereby the patient's chest can expand without active decompression of the patient's chest beyond the chest's natural resting position.
MULTI-PART DEVICE
The present invention relates to a multi-part device for generating a clearly audible sound when an external force is applied onto a first force-transmission means that acts, via a spring system, on a base plate in an apparatus for controlled cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the human body in the event of cardiac arrest, and is characterised in that the external geometric dimensions and shapes are adapted to the anatomical conditions of the pectoral-adjacent thorax, in particular the spring system generating a signal that acts on at least one oscillatable element, the spring system being arranged between the first force-transmission means and the base plate, which spring system consists substantially of at least one spring element and one planar spring element, in particular the spring element also being a conical spring element.
