Railway vehicle, coupler, and coupler body thereof
A railway vehicle, a coupler, and a coupler body thereof. The coupler body comprises an upper traction platform, a lower traction platform, a lock chamber, and a pin hole. A traction surface of an upper traction platform and/or a lower traction platform is divided into a contact area and a yielding area along the direction approaching the lock chamber, an extension face of the end of the contact area close to the lock chamber is an M2 face, and the yielding area is positioned at the side of the M2 face close to the pin hole. The yielding area is positioned on the side of the contact area next to the lock chamber and there is a gap and no contact between the yielding area and a traction platform of a coupler knuckle.
Trim assembly for a vehicle
A trim assembly includes at least one trim part for a vehicle, wherein the at least one trim part has at least one bearing device where, in order to provide advantageous construction conditions, the trim assembly includes at least one first emergency catch device having a first support, the at least one first emergency catch device includes at least one first catch bolt having a contact surface facing the at least one trim part and includes at least one first spacer, and the at least one first catch bolt and the at least one first spacer are connected to the first support so as to ensure the trim assembly is highly resistant to loss.
Railway vehicle with antifreezing device, and related method
A railway vehicle includes a car body having a shell frame surrounding an internal area suitable for accommodating passengers, and a power generator connected to an external side of the car body and including an outlet for discharging out a liquid produced during generation of electricity. A hydraulic system is in fluid communication with the outlet and receives at least part of the liquid produced during generation of electricity. The hydraulic system includes a first end portion connected to the outlet, a second end portion, spaced apart from the first end portion, for draining out from the hydraulic system the received liquid, and a third intermediate portion which is interconnected between the first and second end portions and is placed, at least partially, in the internal area of the car body, which is adapted to be heated before receiving passengers.
LOW-PRESSURE TUBULAR SYSTEM COMPRISING EXPANSION JOINTS
A low-pressure tubular system, for instance a vacuum tube train transportation system, comprising: a multitude of interconnected tube sections having a longitudinal axis; wherein each of the tube sections comprise a central part and two outer end parts; wherein the tubular system is configured to maintain a low-pressure environment within the connected tube sections; wherein the system further comprises a multitude of expansion joints connecting the tube sections; wherein each of the expansion joints comprises a sleeve made of a flexible sheet material and comprising a ring shaped endless central part and two ring shaped endless outer end parts; and wherein each of the outer end parts of the expansion joints are arranged to extend coaxial with an adjacent tube section and surround and sealingly engage the outer end part of said adjacent tube section.
RAILWAY SELF-GENERATING EXPRESS FREIGHT CAR BOGIE
A railway self-generating express freight car bogie has a wheel-axle assembly, frame, journal box suspension device, bolster, foundation brake, side bearing, empty/load auto-adjustment equipment, central suspension device, longitudinal traction device, vertical damper and lateral damper. An axle-end generator is connected at the outer end of an axle of the wheel-axle assembly, the rotor part of the axle-end generator is connected to the end bearing of the wheel-axle assembly by the axle-end bolts, and the stator part is connected to the mount of the journal box suspension devices. The bogie is designed according to the zero-wear concept, and a large number of rubber components and hydraulic dampers are used to improve the lateral stability, linear stability and curve passing performance of the car, so that the bogie is highly adaptable to railway lines, and can meet the operating requirements within 160 km/h and reduce the workload of bogie operation and maintenance.
Method for cleaning an air duct, and air intake system
A method for cleaning an air duct, in particular an air duct of a rail vehicle. The need to cool at least one load connected to the air duct is determined, the need to clean the air duct is determined, and a cleaning process of the air duct is initiated if there is no or a low need to cool the at least one load connected to the air duct and if there is a need to clean the air duct. There is also described an air intake system.
Opening and closing mechanism and train having the same
The present application relates to an opening and closing mechanism and a train having the same. The opening and closing mechanism comprise a driving device, a locking device and a support arm; the driving device is connected to the locking device to drive the locking device to rotate; a first end of the locking device is rotatably mounted on a baseplate; a sliding groove in which a second end of the locking device is slidably located is formed on the support arm; a first end of the support arm is rotatably mounted on the baseplate; a second end of the support arm is connected to a fairing; the driving device drives the locking device to rotate, the locking device drives the support arm to rotate by the sliding groove, so that the support arm opens or closes the fairing.
Railroad hopper car structure and gate therefor
A railroad hopper car has a hopper carried between two trucks. The hopper has convergent end and side slope sheets that feed a flat bottom discharge. It has a rectangular frame at least half as wide as the car, and at least half as great as the truck center distance. The car capacity is over 5000 cu. ft. The bottom discharge is lower than the center sill. There are ring frames having a bottom reinforcement that passes clear under the center sill. The car has flat bottom discharge gates having multiple arrays of louvers. The side sheets extend downwardly beyond the side sills, so that the side slope sheets terminate at a transition below the side sills. The louvers have curved edges. The louvers move together. The gate may include two opposed sliding doors separated by a beam that runs under the center sill.
Dynamic conveyor system for custom sized packaging
A conveyor system includes a rail having one or more channels therein and one or more sleds operatively associated with the rail. A sled can include a body and one or more wheels mounted on the body and configured to move through the one or more channels in the rail. A sled can also include a holding device connected to the body. The holding device can be configured to engage a packaging container to move the packaging container along the rail. Multiple sleds can be used to secure a packaging container therebetween and move the packaging container along the rail. The conveyor system may also include a queue system that dynamically moves packaging containers to packaging stations.
